  1. Actually all gastric sleeve requires a medical director to review it. Nurses and "regular" people aren't allowed to make decisions regarding medical necessity. Must be a doc Does that make sense?
  2. Am getting moody and I think a bath would be great. Am 4 weeks post op All incisions look good and closed. I forgot to ask last time I was I. With doc. Thanks All!!
  3. Better - 7/22 to 7/23 is not enough time. Insurance companies have docs submit and it goes into a "queue" that's then reviewed by a specific department responsible for the item. It still has to make it's way from intake to that team. Give it a couple days. Like 3 at least before a lowly customer service rep can see it.
  4. So based on that. I would it didn't affect you since it's a nj teensy organ repair but definitely something to ask BOTH your surgeons to comment on.
  5. Prolapse - the internal organs have lost structure. Usually bladder, uterus etc falling into vagina A = anterior P = posterior So she had a prolapse with anterior and posterior repair. Basically rebuild of the pelvic structure.
  6. It's not ok. Call back and ask for anti nauseau meds.
  7. Is she in your surgeons office? Meet with him or maybe a nurse practitioner ?
  8. I just used my cuisinart for everything!
  9. I pm'd you here. Can't find you on fb
  10. I don't think the nauseau post surgery is the same as motion sickness. Ask your doc if you can fly and take some Dramamine
  11. Used to get that from eating to fast so I learned to slow down.
  12. I'll get my boobies done and let hubby pay for it.
  13. Nicie have you gotten any assistance from your surgeon?
  14. It's all the fluids from surgery didn't they tell you that at the appt? It's not unusual.
  15. Told never ever with my sleeve
  16. I think this matches my soft foods intake at the beginning and then I stopped protein shakes and upped the ounces
  17. Why do you put yourself through this. You can't sue. Your word against his However nothing stops you from filing quality of care complaints. One to the state board of medical examiners and one with your insurance. Call them and tell them what he said.
  18. Love the package!
  19. It doesn't strike me as a soft food? I am allowed very few veggies on soft food
  20. But you know if you want to share this information no matter which is larger/smaller/quantity you can. We will all support you and not provide comparisons.
