  1. sorry at surgery my BMI was at 36.1
  2. Same thing for me too, I love my RNY! I also did a lot of research and came up with much better long term results with bypass.
  3. Don't give up ladies, I know I slowed down many times keep on with the new life style changes and it will come off. If you still feel like it is not budging call your NUT or Doctor. they should have recommendations. We are all different and have different needs.
  4. I guess if you complain in writing then it will magically fix it's self.
  5. Okay now my ticker will not update also......I change the weight and it just goes back to 145.
  6. @@Shadow427 your week put my bad day/mood in to perspective. I am so sorry this has all happened :-(
  7. also applebees has their nutrition info online. I always make a plan for what I am going to order and have a plan B, that way I am not tempted by things that are not beneficial to me and my body.
  8. any thing you have for the first time, try at home. sometimes I just get soup and have my protein at home. also be carful with BBQ sauces as they are often high in sugar.
  9. I take Bariatric Advantage Multi Advanced EA, and the calcium chews (caramel is my favorite) Then I take Biotin and B12 I just get from the store. I love the BA and all my labs have been better than before surgery :-)
  10. I eat about a cup of food too. If I eat too much less then I am just hungry an hour later and end up eating things I shouldn't. I am good at keeping at about a cup or less, but also need to work really hard on my snacking and eating little bites here and there. I know that is how things slip up and things start to come back.....and that I a huge huge fear. I have not had children yet and I want to have the best habits, and health before I do try and get pregnant. (no not any time too soon) But I know this is the time to correct myself and make new normals.
  11. Sounds like an excellent Birthday weekend!!! I am so glad you had such a good time!!
  12. I do believe if you have lost, that would be the definition of "not a plateau" congratulations! 2 pounds is amazing!
  13. I try for 800 calories a day but some days I end up at 900-1,000 but my protein is at 100-110g. I am approximately 9 pounds from goal.
  14. Well my boyfriend was right as soon as we got home and I got back in to my routine for a few days and did mostly shakes I lost the weight from our trip and more. Then today we went hiking and I only made it a little over a mile up and was DONE. I think it's because I had a shake and not a real food Breakfast. But I got super weak and sick. He hugged me and told me we should just go back to be safe. I cried because I felt like I had failed or let him down. He of course reassured me that was not the case but it was hard. I made it back to the car but just barely, now that we are home and I am nibbling at real food I am starting to feel better.
  15. I looked at all the different formulas (that say I should weight like 130 and 135, BMI says between 111.2-150.2. My doctor said 140, but I know my scale is always different than the doctors (partly because I am not naked at the doctors office) So I figured 137 was a nice number and then maybe at my doctors office I will actually be what he said I should be....and I like the number 7 more than a zero... yes this was actually my thought process.
  16. @@amylynns Thank you. I know I have to keep looking at my pictures to remind myself how far I have come. I was on my period while we were gone too so maybe that has something to do with it. My bf has lost over 100 pounds also so he knows how I feel. He does wonderful and encouraging me and helping me to get up and get moving. I was defiantly still getting my Protein in, but I was also getting all the other fun foods in :-( Thank you for your encouragement. I know in my head, but my emotions get sad.
  17. So my vacation was wonderful and my boyfriend ran an incredible 2:57:27 marathon at the Boston Marathon. I jokingly had said I am going to gain 5 pounds being away from home. I was joking, I knew we would be walking a lot and figured it would balance any extra calories I eat. well.....we got home and I had gained 3.8 pounds!! then I did all shakes and water yesterday, checked this morning....I gained another .6......I am freaking out!! this puts me back to being in the Overweight category and not loosing 100 pounds..... I feel like my goals that I celebrated accomplishing were all lies. I want to be back where I was last week so bad. I am doing shakes and Water again, I don't know what else to do......
  18. Oh yes and my boyfriend set his new PR for his marathon time! I'm so proud :-) 2:57:27 :-) he was introducing me to some people and one guys said "damn!! See the fast guys get the hot chicks!!" It made me giggle. And my boyfriend smiled and said, yep!
  19. I went back to the hotel I stated at last year just to get a picture in front of the painting I really liked last year. Wow!! So crazy how much my life has changed!!
  20. I am flying out of town (San Diego to Boston) for the first time since surgery, I am nervous but equipped with quest bars and turkey jerkey. I am excited to fit in the seats better now!! We will be gone for 5days and my boyfriend is running the Boston marathon so I will be out on my own for most the day Monday. I am just praying I am able to keep my protein and energy up.
  21. I started 250 pants 18 shirts XL-XXL dresses 20-22 Now 147 Pants 4-0 Shirts M-XS Dresses no idea 12-4 all depends on the dress
  22. @@amylynns Yes when I am PMSing I hit about 1000 calories, but I was feeling super guilty and like I was out of control and going ruin everything (yes I am emotional) I for the most part only eat stuff that has Protein in it. but on special occasions and before going postal I have had a Fiber one brownie. they were banned from the house a while back but I am doing much better with them, and only allow them if I have had my full meals and reached at least 100g of protein.
  23. I am struggling with eating things that are not on my "plan for the day" so here is my plan for today and am praying I can stick to it....although today might be much more easy because I will not get home tonight until after 8:30pm :-) Breakfast (6:50) I have one of my premier Protein Hot peppermint mocha- 168 calories, 30g protein lunch (11:30) I had "fried rice" made with shrimp and chicken, with cauliflower instead of rice 1 cup- 167 calories, 19g of protein. sometimes I need something around 2:30p) if I go for my 2 mile walk (string cheese- 50 calories, 7g protein) Snack (around 4:00) another peppermint mocha dinner (7:00) I will be in a meeting 5:00-8:00 so It will need to be in my purse. I am planning a Quest bar 190 calories, 21g protein. IF I follow this I will be at 746 calories and 108g of protein. this should be more than enough for me but PMS has my brain thinking I am starving all day! But I know my body does not need it!! so far I am good but it is only noon and I usually start cravings around 1:30. I am hopeful that putting it out there will help me.
  24. OMG @@Bronxmerci Looking amazing!!! I hope you feel as good as you're looking. :-)
