  1. Hello! I went thru the same thing when deciding on WLS. I did eventually decide on lap band. My surgery was March 20, 2014 and I couldnt be happier. You will find that there are pros and cons to all WLS so it really depends on your research and whats best for you personally. I didnt see in your update what you decided on but I know that all will work out for you if you go into it whole-heartedly. Keep me posted.

  3. I was told by my nutritionist that overeating during your liquid and mush stage can do that. You arent to eat of course but some do and thats why its so important to do exactly as your doctor tells you.
  4. That is so amazing! congrats on an awesome accomplishment!
  5. I know that with the band that weight loss is supposed to be fairly slow, but i was wondering how many of you have had a good amount of lost weight within the first six months? Would love to know what you are eating? I only ask because I would like to lose about 30 lbs more before the end of July......Is it possible?

  7. Hello! I am a mother of two teenagers and have struggled my whole life with being overweight. I finally made the decision for weight loss surgery back in the summer of 2013. It was such a long process to be approved by my insurance but finally they sent my approval letter in March of 2014. My lapband procedure was on 3/20/2014. It was the scariest and most exciting day for me. So far i have been overjoyed at the results. At my two week check up, i was down 16 lbs. I havent had a fill yet but so far my food intake is where it should be. So excited to see the results as time progresses.
