True Results called today and I have been approved. Yeah!! Now they are just trying to squeeze me before June. I really don't want to wait until June.

That is great! I got my call today that I am approved. I am now waiting on the surgeon to call. It is all coming together! Congratulations once again.

I have Cigna. I have to complete 4 consecutive monthly visits. I started in January and just had my last appointment. It is now off to the insurance. My Dr said CIGNA usually doesn't take the 30 days to respond. Good luck!

Only you can answer what you feel is best for you. I want the sleeve but everyone keeps telling me band. I am going with my gut and going with the sleeve. I know that does not answer your question. Just keep researching and praying.

I still have one more visit to go until it gets sent off to my insurance. I have a lot of questions going through my mind. I have thought about the foods as well. I like the idea about satisfying my taste buds with one bite. yummmm

I have one more appointment before it gets sent off for insurance approval. I really need to kick it in gear and start walking and working out. I do have Protein drinks ready!

What I have found that helps is adding a tablespoon of fat free pudding mix. I do this after my workout. I haven't had surgery yet, but I think it will still be okay.

I read about everyone losing weight before surgery and the 2 week diet. I was really confused. My doctor's office has yet to go over all of that with me. Maybe on my last appointment the nutritionist will come in and talk to me. Heck, maybe they are waiting to get approval from my insurance first before they starting talking to me about it.

What made you get your procedure done in Mexico? Is it cheaper?

I am south of Houston. My last appointment will be April 11, then off to insurance for approval!

My last visit to the dr will be in April. They will then send it off to the insurance. So I am really not sure when my surgery will be. I am still undecided between band and sleeve. I am a big girl and not sure whether the band will be as effective. I am literally writing the pros and cons to both options.
