I don't like it that is for sure...but I am having a hard time understanding how some people having the same procedure are on less strict diets than the one my surgeon assigns? Mine is all clear sugar free liquids with the exception of a max of 4 low calorie/high carb Protein shakes per day. I've had a horrible headache for days, am dizzy, lightheaded, tired and grumpy.
My surgery is this Thursday...and I have been having those some fears and also a fear of, what if I lose too much and am unable to eat anything at all and become sickly and unhealthy? I think it is just nervous jitters like we get about anything that is or can be a life changing decision.
Good to know! Thank you! Surgery on Thursday and dr says I should be able to go back to work Monday (desk job)...from your personal experience how realistic is that?
I am being sleeved on Thursday 02/27/14 and am in Texas...I have 2 days left of this pre-op diet and am horribly hungry and feel like poo. I don't have anyone to journey with either! Good luck today!! I hope all goes smoothly for you and you are more than welcome to message me anytime. I cannot wait to hear how your surgery went.
I am 2 days away from surgery and am so miserable right now on my pre-op diet. I am only allowed up to 4 protein shakes per day and everything else is sugar free low sodium clear liquids. I have a horrible headache that won't go away, awful stomach pain and feel light headed, dizzy and tired. I am just trying to make it two more days! I'm more worried about my actual surgery day now. I can't have ANYTHING after midnight tomorrow night (Wednesday) but my actual procedure is not until Thursday at 2pm. I'm afraid I will be dying of thirst and unable to even have a sip of water. Anyone else have a late surgery time and go most of the day without even water?
