  1. So far good, you? Hardest part is being boredom the puréed food options
  2. My surgery was done on July 27th. Anyone else share that day?
  3. Houston here! Surgery date was 7/21
  4. I am in Houston. My surgery date was 7/27/15
  5. You need to be honest with him
  6. Lapband to Rny bypass revision, a weight loss surgery photo album by prettyandbrwn on BariatricPal. 2 photos in Before and After Gastric Bypass Photos.
  7. I have lost a total since surgery of 15lbs. My surgery was April 3rd. I have gone from 306 to 257 in a year's time, I am just worried that it's been two weeks and no weight gone. But my clothes are falling off my behind. Lol. Thanks guys!
  8. I have only lost 1lbs since my fill on April 24th... And I am always hungry....
  9. Call and ask your dr. But when you go for your fill you will fill out a form describing your level of hunger.
  10. I need to get it together and put it to use as well. I just decided to start walking on my lunch break since I cannot eat on it, I will just drink Protein shakes because I only have a 30 minute lunch and that's not enough time to eat. Monday I ended up trying to eat in that time frame and food got stuck. When I got my fill it did hurt, she numbed it but she couldn't find my port, then I see people on here talking about a machine they use at there office so they can see. Mine didn't use such a machine... I want to see this in action. My schedule is to go back every three weeks for the first two fills then every 4 weeks once I am at the right fill level.
  11. 50 lbs??? That's awesome, man I need to step up my game.
  12. Red storm, One minute...or smaller bites. It truly depends on the meal. But the timer is for one full minute.
  13. Try not to have food on your stomach... They like for your belly to be empty. I wish they would have told me that before my first fill, although it wasn't a big deal.
  14. Some of these post are a year past dated, I was banded April 3, 2014 by Dr. Reilly. Is there a support group that is currently active in Houston?
  15. Oh yes, I have learned. I am now using my timer they gave me, it's hard because I am also taking smaller bites, so sometimes I swallow before the time has lapsed.
  16. Week 4, this week. I have a timer for chews then swallow. I went back to soft food though, because of last night. I had baby food this am and eggs. I am telling you it was the worst feeling ever.
  17. I had my surgery on April 3rd and my first fill on April 25, man when they say only liquids on a fill day, that is all I will have from now on. It was midnight and I ate two green Beans and slither of chicken...STUCK food it was the worst feeling ever. It's painful, you cannot breath, your mouth is watery, and you experience slim. I have learned my lesson, I'll never experience that again..... Tomika
  18. When I go for my fill I am going to speak with them because I have fiber and miralax...and nothing. Like once every 3 or 4 days. And it's forever for nothing
  19. Was banded April 3rd, and since then my cycle started waaaaay earlier than scheduled date, also my ph balance isn't balanced... Wth do I do? I scheduled a gyn tomorrow, but I wanted to know if anyone else experienced this issue?
  20. I was banded April 3, some days I am really hungry some I am not. My biggest thing is not being able to use the restroom....no one told me about that. I am also retaining fluid in my legs, which is normal for me, but my body won't release it, so I am taking on OTC waterpill until I can get to the doctor tomorrow. I lost 10 lbs post op and 15 lbs post op so far. My first full is this Friday. I'd love to get in the gym, but 30 min of cardio isn't worth the drive.
  21. Not so much... I am doing a lot better now. Mushy wasn't that bad, it was weird to blend my chicken, and it did change the taste of the food.
  22. I am hungry...until I actually go to eat... It's crazy. Tonight I puréed the chicken and soup part of chicken dumplings and couldn't eat it, I became nauseous
  23. Good to hear that you're doing well. I don't even know where my port is located.
