Traveling, need some food suggestions
Awesome you are giving me so many ideas. I'm cleared for soft meats and cooked veggies. No beef Jerky but I have tried some turkey pepperoni. String cheese is great. I'm traveling with my one yr old so I'm hoping we can share some Snacks on the plane. I love nuts dried fruit and trail mix but thought that was a no no ? Is that something I may be able to do later on?

Traveling, need some food suggestions
Oh yeah I should say I'm 5weeks out but haven't tried anything that doesn't agree with me. Tuna or chicken, I've done some lunch meat but try to stay away from the high sodium. I just assumed you couldn't bring food on the plane. I know they restrict liquids.

Traveling, need some food suggestions
Hello all, I will be traveling out of state next week and I'm curious what foods you have found that are decent to eat on the run. Like fast food or restaurants that have good choices. I will have a fridge in my hotel so I plan on make a trip to the grocery store but know we will be out and about a lot. Also concerned about the airport and plane ride, can't bring food with me. So anyone have some suggestions for that. Thanks

Transitional bra shopping, what did you do? what are you doing?
I love my Lane Bryant bras they are awesome but I agree they are very expensive. They do have a clearance or bogo sale a few times a year. Other than that maybe check eBay.

Kidney stone
So today was bad day, spent the afternoon in the ER with sever lower abdominal pain. After some blood work and a CAT scan I found out I have a kidney stone. Once I was releases I started doing some research online and found out that it is a side effect of bariatric surgery. Anyone else have issues with this? Oh by the way I am 4 weeks post op. Thanks

You can't mix the injury in liquids over 130 degrees it gets gross. I've heard that the isoprene at GNC is good but I haven't tried any.

Yeah I slept on the couch pretty much sitting up for about 3-4 days after I go home. It helped with the nausea and my stomach was very sore. You'll do great. When do you get to come home?

OMG NSV!
Yep I told my husband that I can't wait to be able to cross my legs. Seems so stupid but in my mind it is a big deal.

Does your spouse know how much you weigh?
Wow I'm so surprised. My husband weighs 125lbs and I was 310 at my heaviest. I never felt ashamed. When we were dating I was probably in the mid to hight 200's so I knew he loved me no matter what. Since the surgery he is very interested in how my body is changing but in a loving way. I think he is kinda worried on how it will be once I reach my goal but he won't say anything because he knows how important this is to me and he is fully supportive.

Stage 2: Mushy foods
I'm on stage two also and I'm ready to explore. I ate scrambled eggs this morning going to try some tuna salad, chicken salad, egg salad but other than that I'm sure I'm going to get board of this for two weeks. I've heard avocados are good maybe some salsa but I need more protein ideas.
