  5. I'm still on mushies, so I plan to have a bite of mashed potatoes, bite of cranberry sauce (out of the can!) and maybe a bite of gravy! lol! It's going to be hard, but in the end, well worth it! ~Pamela.
  6. I'm a 42DDD...Most likely I'll have to have surgery of some sort...I mean, I don't want to be tiny, I love my girls! LOL!
  7. Hi Dbanner, I'm right there with ya. I lost 15lbs quickly since surgery on 10/19 and have gained back at least 5lbs... I started to freak out the other day too. And since I told people that I was having the surgery, they expect me to lose quickly! It's taken me a while to accept that I need to give this time. I go in for my 1st fill on the 21st, so we'll see how it goes after that. You are not alone! Good luck! ~Pamela.

  11. Don't give up! It took me 3 years of fighting insurance companies, almost giving up, then finally I was able to self-pay. You'll find a way. I thought I never would. Wishing you all the luck! ~Pamela.

  13. This is cracking me up! LOL! Now I am craving bacon like a freak! I'm still on mushies....wonder if I could blend it? LOL!

  15. I HATE when they put on a fat suit. People are looking at them because it looks SO FAKE! All the make up and fake fat... this is SUCH a pet peeve of mine! I used to like Tyra Banks, but these last few years she's become obnoxious! ~P.
  16. Anyone have any trouble with beans of any kind? Just wondering if this would be a mistake to try...
  17. Do any of you drink wine or anything else? I am still on mushies right now, but when I start on solids, I would eventually love to have a glass (or a few sips!) of wine. Can we tolerate it? You know, to an extent?
  18. Have you tried to find a liquid calcium supplement? I am taking a chewable calcium right now, and liquid multivitamins...
  19. I was banded on the 19th of October and lost 15lbs... gained back 5....I have my first fill scheduled for the 21st of November so I'm hoping it works!
  20. Hi Flexible! I was just banded 2 weeks ago. I made the decision to go with the band for several reasons. It's less invasive, and I have a very good friend who had gastric bypass and has had some major problems because of it. Plus, she has gained 60 lbs back since losing 150 lbs. Of course, she is able to eat anything at this point. I thought the band would give me more control, what with the fills and all. It's also reversible, just in case... I thought long and hard about this. At one point, I was ready to go with the Bypass, but after some long soul searching, I think the band was definately the right decision for me. Good luck!
  21. Both Claritin and Allavert (sp?) come in tablets that dissolve...my life savers!
  22. My port is located right over my belly button... just sitting here thinking... when/if I decide to have children, is it going to stick out? Wonder if it will be a problem in that location? What if I have to have a tummy tuck? Hmm... ~P.
  23. Sleezy PottyBrains!
  24. I was SO nervous and my blood pressure was sky high! Try to relax... you'll be fine! Good Luck! ~pamela.
