  1. I hit 200lbs today, down 75lbs. I have 50lbs to go.
  2. pre-made primer protein shakes are good also check with you health food stores. GNC has protein shakes. You have to remember you will be doing this four weeks so you need a variety, they work. I ate the Akins meals. I did not plan it but I loss 6lbs during the pre-op diet.
  3. I went to bathroom as soon as I woke up from recovery.
  4. just sip slow, I have had that fear I would not be to keep anything down. I know we are suppose to get 60 gram of protein in I have not yet and I am not trying this first week.
  5. Hi, surgery was the September 15th, everything is good except where my drain was, it hurts like crazy. I had a great surgeon, hospital and staff. My daughter was able to come up for the week. My start weight 274 in march, I am already at 246, goal is 165.
  6. I had my surgery Monday, it was at St Thomas Midtown, had a wonderful Dr Charles Morton, and hospital, staff. The only thing I am dealing with is the pain from the drain. That place hurts, but it has to heal. I'm just not a patient person. I would like to find a support group that meets on Thursday day or nights. If you know of one please post the info, thank you.
