  1. Before having my sleeve done. I had a hard time taking pills. NOW, I have to crush my Zantac. OMG!!! Just the thought makes me gag. I HATE taking this pill 2x a day. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to get this down without gagging. I mean, I know that I HAVE to take this but its horrible trying to get it down. UGH!!

  3. Omg! It was spaghetti night in my house also and I had to cook it. It smells so good. Im hating the fact that I can't eat any. Surgery date is 10/23

  5. Hi Betts69, Yes. I'm on my preop liquid diet and it is EXTREMELY HARD. It's for 2 weeks. Breakfast- Protein shake Snack- sugar free Jello and Water Lunch- Protein Shake Snack- Sugar Free Apple sauce and water Dinner- Protein Shake and 1 cup of veggies Then, another Protein Shake This diet is teaching me DISCIPLINE because I have to cook for my family. Whenever I get hungry, I go find something to do with water handy. I love YouTube so I'll find motivation looking at before and after videos of people who have been through this and I feel so much better about this decision. Anyhoo, I am doing pretty good with it. I also think about how close I am. I only have 2 MORE DAYS.

  14. I got the phone call today at 12:38 pm!!! I jumped clean in the air when my DO said that I was approved!!! I will NEVER let anybody tell me that its not hard work going through this. It is very hard! I am just so happy right now! My surgery date is October 23, 2014!! When is yours and how are you feeling?

  16. Lol, I read your post wrong. I did 30 min workouts 2x a day, I ate raw veggies and Fruit, drank water all day long and I did portion control with my meals.

  18. Hi BitterSweet, I was struggling to lose weight for my final weigh in before seeing my surgeon, they asked me to lose a lb and I managed to lose 6lbs!
  19. Hi, everybody!!!!! I DID IT! I DID IT! I lost 6lbs. I'm sooo happy now!!! :-) :-) :-) :-)
