I got the call today!! March 13th i start my new life!!!!!! Also Im going to try my best to make it to the Synergy group meeting on the 27th!! It will be my first time! is there anything I need to bring lol?

That is definitely another problem I'm worried about! My doctor makes it seem like I about to have surgery tomorrow but what if I have more steps to take!?!?

I have Dr. Caruana as well. I just got the letter sayin that I have everything done and that they are going to submitt everything soon

Has anyone with independent Health been denied? if so why and were you able to eventually get approved? I'm waiting to hear back from them and I'm a nervous wreck!!!!! Its all I think about!

I know everyone went thru the waiting and this isn't the first time someones has had to vent but waiting to see if my insurance it going to approve my wls is driving me crazy!!!!! I want to start buying everything I need and put in my request for the time off I'll need from work but I cant do anything until I know for sure. I feel like this one little decision is consuming my life and my hands are tied!

Ive started using Bariatric Fusion and they are awesome but I also heard that Unjury shakes were really good too. Unjury also has a chicken flavor for soups and broth and a cheese sauce. They sell a started kit that has samples so I wil be trying them next!

I have told quite a few people which I am honestly regretting! Everyone has to comment or at times judge me for my decision. What annoys me most about this is that almost all of my friends and family that I have told are not overweight. They never have been and they dont understand whats its like to be the one size 20 in a room with size 0-8. And quite frankly its a part job explaining the whole concept with the surgery and the diet. I made the mistake in looking for support by telling people and some honeslty will support me in whatever I choose to do but all of their questions are killing me!

Im not even on the liquid diet yet and i get them! and I never had problems with them before!

im kinda in the same boat everyone is assuming that ill just get approved. I just finish doin my psycological evaluation but my doc's office was talking about scheduling a date before i even went. and like you beside being overweight i have not other healt issues. But my doc assured me that because i dont have any other healt problems is even more of a reason to have the surgery becasue we'd be able to prevent some of those other problems but getting the weight off now. It also depend on your insurance... i found out that different insurance companies require different things for WLS. Either way i know the suspense it agonizing but have faith and just prepare yourself for it to happen anyways because when it does it will be fast!!

So far it has been a little hard to adjust.. Im use to eating pretty much one meal a day which is dinner.If i ate something before then cool but i never worried about it much. Im a hairdresses so sometimes stopping and having a sip of water let alone a snack is hard. But i want to change my life so my nuritiionist asked me to do a trial run and ive been finding time to fit in the meals i need and the liquids!!!
