I have united healthcare choice plus NE I am not sure if they are the same, but I do know that mine only required a 3 year health history from my doctor. I hope this helps. good luck!
I was actually petty lucky with my insurance, the only thing it required is a 3 year health history from my doctor and the usual psych eval. I had more from my doctor to accomplish before surgery, but all in all it went pretty fast! Good luck to you!!
I had a real hard time with fluids the first week. I found if i chewed on crushed ice it was better and also SF popsicles. I then set a timer and forced myself to drink one ounce of Water every 15 minutes. After two days of this it became easier to get fluids in. I hope you can find what works for you.
Good luck!! I was so ready when my surgery date came, but reality reared its ugly head and the few days after surgery I kept asking my self Is this really worth it? I had a hard time with fluids the first week, but I will tell you it was the best decision that I could have made! You will do great, just follow what your doctor tells you and check out all these forums, you will have lots of support!!!
I kept it private for the most part. My husband was the only one to know for quite sometime. Once I was approved I then told other members of my family and a few very close friends. Today if somebody asks I have no problem telling them my story, but I don't volunteer the info. The ones who do know have been very supportive. I think its a personal decision.
I was having headaches when i was weaning myself off caffeine! By the time I got to the pre-op diet I was doing ok. Are you getting enough Water? Dehydration can lead to headaches. I hope it gets better for you! Good luck with your surgery!!
