  1. I got "sliced" on Wednesday (yesterday). Home now doing well.you will do great!!!!!
  2. Amy!! Looking good. I just got home. Hope you surgery went well. Mine did. I have lots of pressure/gas. Walking and sipping!!

  4. Dr Stowers is awesome. I had my EGD this morning and it was a piece of cake. The hospital staff I have interacted with are soo nice. Some of the hospital staff have had their WLS done by Dr. Stowers. I'm going in tomorrow at 7:30 for the sleeve!!!!
  5. My surgery is the day before yours! I have mine tomorrow!!!!! excited!!! Had my EGD this morning. Going in tomorrow at 7:30a
  6. My surgery is a week away!! Eeeek. So excited. My dr requires a liquid diet diet for one week before surgery. I start my liquids tomorrow. I've got my Protein powder to make my shakes. Beef and chicken broth, sugar free Popsicles, and a few other staples. What are some of your favorite things to have while on full liquids? What were your go to's??

  12. I mainly lurk on these forums. I have gained so much knowledge from you all. I just wanted to share with you all that I have a date for my sleeve!! I go in on Feb 26th. I have the endoscopy the day before surgery. I am soo weird... I was more scared to be put under anesthesia for my ankle surgery than I am now and having most of my stomach removed!! I know the nerves will come but right now I'm just excited!!!

  16. I cant wait for this either AND being able to fit on amusement park rides!! I want to ride with my kids instead of standing and watching.
  17. Hi there!! Have been debating on the whole WLS for a few years now. I made the commitment and decided to do it!!! I'm so excited. My consultation was this past Monday. Waiting on word from the Dr on my surgery date. I will be self pay so I wont have any waiting limitations for insurance purposes. Excited for this new lease on life!!!
