Hello new friends,
I am a 40 yr old wife and mother of one beautiful son. I have friends and a family member who had WLS and they are very happy with their progress. I have had my consultation but have not scheduled my follow up appointments. I guess I'm still waiting for some sign that this is the best thing for me... I walked by a mirror today( I usually avoid this) and instantly felt my mood plumit. There are few things that bring me down instantly but how I look is the most painful thing i face every day. So although im scared I think it is time to do something for me. As a Therapist I help people face strife everyday and it may be time to start being kind to myself for a change. I was happy to find this website to connect to others like me and get much needed support. I would live to be sitting on my couch next year at this time 90 pounds lighter...
