You girls are helping ease my anxiety so much. And I haven't had the Xanax yet. I just laughed out loud and told my husband about it. He didn't seem to find it as funny. But he's tall and skinny so he doesn't get it. Lol. Resist the Olive Garden!!!!

If I need it I will take it. But I remember when they took my band out that they gave me some realt good stuff in my IV in preop and I sure don't want to miss out on that! Lol. Also my phone just tried auto correcting preop to Oreos. Hahahaha!

Ha! And Ativan works for you but I don't feel a thing on it. Funny how it works so differently for others. My surgeon told me I could take the Xanax the morning of my survey. Bonus! Haha. Not sure I will have to but he said if I'm freaking out take it and let the nurses know when I check in.

Sorry to hear that. I get terrible shoulder pain after anesthesia and am not looking forward to it. Hope it goes away soon!

When I walked into my surgeons office my theme song was playing. SexyBack. Okay, it's not my theme song...yet! But it really was playing in the waiting room and made me laugh. Got the final green light to go Thursday. We just had to get the pregnancy test back. Let me tell you how not thrilled I was to think this I might be prego and have to postpone. Told the doc I was getting anxious. He added Xanax to my script and sent me on my way. Party!

Hahaha. As if being on the 'quids isn't rough enough. Our hospitals pavilion where we get our pre-op tests done just opened a subway in place of their cafe. Everywhere I went smelled like fresh baked bread. I wanted to smack someone.

Actually I think it's called research and statistics. It's something science related. Ha.

Hi there You may like looking at the "Science and Statistics" section under the "Main Gastric Sleeve" forum. There is a lot of medical research posted there. In that forum I learned the gastric sleeve is one of the safest laparoscopic procedures you can have. It made me feel a lot better about it. Also I had a bad band failure and wouldn't go through the band again. I am being sleeved on Thursday and will let you know how it goes. Good luck in your research.

Going to my last pre-op surgeon appointment this morning. I don't know why but I'm nervous! Like he will cancel surgery. I know that won't happen! Ahhh. So close!
