I had a lap-band placed in 2014 and failed and now I am seeking a revision to sleeve. Any recommendations for a self-pay dr in North Florida that does revisions?

I am 2-weeks post-op and my appetite has returned. I know my dr said first fill is one-month post-op but I am ready for a fill. Is this normal?

Live in Tallahassee, FL and I just got banded 5 days ago but my experience so far with him and his office staff has been great! The girls in the office are so sweet and worked very quickly to get my approval. I will update as time goes on but so far I am very pleased!

I am three days post-op and feel pretty good. Surgery was 1/29/14. I had my first bowl of (runny) grits this morning an dit was absolutely wonderful!!!! I am still in my PJs and haven't done much the past few days other than just laying around. I got a shower last night and it felt good to finally get a shower but I nearly passed out. I get up occasionally and walk around but otherwise I am in the recliner or on the couch. Should I be further along than this or doing more than I am at this point? I feel pretty good.

I was banded yesterday. I have found that moving around help some. Hope that helps some!

I was banded yesterday! I didn't think that day would ever get here! I think I am doing pretty good, normal gas pains in shoulder and general feeling of being run over by a truck but overall I think I am doing pretty good! Any advice for the next couple of days???

Mine is the 29th!!!

My surgery is scheduled for next week, the 29th!!!! Any pre-op advice? (Funny, I have been dreaming about this surgery for so long! So weird to finally say, "next week!")
