  2. So if everyone has followed the doctor orders exactly. Then you must be at your goal weight?

  4. That's why it's a forum in which everyone has their own opinions and experiences. What works for you may not work for someone else. Jenny good luck to you
  5. On day four I scrambled an egg really soft and ate it without any difficulty. I was also starving. I was banded 21/2 weeks ago no problems so far other than the feeling that nothing was done. I get my first fill Friday. Both of my other friends also puréed cream soups and ate them.
  6. I don't feel any different ...almost like I had nothing done. I'm hoping a fill helps me. How much weight have you lost? How r u feeling?
  7. I was banded on dec 26 and my first fill is jan 17. My surgeon did not put any saline in the band to start with.

  9. I was banded 2 weeks ago and feel as though I never had surgery. I get my first fill on jan 17th. I am making healthy choices but it is a struggle everyday not to go back to my poor eating choices. I have no problems eating or drinking anything. I guess I was hoping for too much from the band the first few weeks. A lot harder than I anticipated!
  10. When does this weight come off? After fills? I was banded 11 days ago not much weight change

  12. I am post op 8 days I had a salad with grilled chicken on it. I ate it with no problem. Feeling discouraged that this will not work either! Ugh I have no self discipline. My first postop appointment is tomorrow. I wish the band was filled so I couldn't eat!
  13. I was banded on December 26 so it has been 8 days. No pain at all now and I also had hernia repair when he placed band. The first four days are rough take it easy you did have surgery. In a few days you will be pain free. I'm just tired still otherwise maybe a one on the pain scale.
  14. I was banded a week ago today. I have huge cravings pickle juice and anything with vinegar. I know I can eat or drink anything as the swelling has went down. It is a HUGE struggle not to start eating everything again. I lost 16 pounds so far. I got on the scale today and it said I was up four pounds! Prolly from all the pickle juice I have been sipping. Help!

  16. Thank you! I'm just nervous a don't want to gain what I lost back! Everyone from work keeps asking me how much I have lost etc...I feel a lot of pressure to come back to work with a significant weight loss. No one knows how much work this still is.
  17. I was just banded a week ago and already down 16 from the start of this journey. My problem is that I feel as though I can start eating and drinking like I did before. I know I can't have a fill for weeks. Has this happened to others?
