  8. Still have over 100 lbs to go but I feel happy so far
  9. My belly button open ugly weird wound finally just closed up and is healing after 4 weeks. I was really worried about it for awhile but doc said was normal.
  10. I've lost 45 pounds and don't really notice much differences yet other than clothes being a bit looser. That's the sucky part of having a high start weight of 374. 45-50 pounds doesn't make much difference like it does for some. Can't wait to really see and feel a difference.
  11. Thanks guys! Much better.

  14. I wish it tracked grams instead of percentages. The percentages are not useful to me
  15. I usually get chicken and some seafood with the veggies and just tell them no noodles or rice
  16. I was sleeved 1/16 and lost 20 pounds on the 2 week pre-op and 22 pounds since surgery. I'm eating everything (meaning veggies, fruit, protein) regardless of consistency now and have been since week 2. I average 1000-1200 calories a day. No exercise yet as I'm not cleared for it. Not sure if that pace will remain in the coming months. My start weight was 374.
  17. Yes there is lol. I was sleeved 1-16 and have been getting 1200 cal a day. I've lost 40 pounds since my pre-op diet started 1/3. My nut wouldn't give me a guideline as she didn't want me focusing on numbers yet but I wanted to get into the habit of tracking right off the bat so I have been.
  18. Exact same as you, timing and loss and everything. I have not had a problem getting 1200 calories a day though, which kind of upsets me. My nut hasn't given me a guideline either. She said she will next visit at 6 weeks. Not sure why :/
  19. I was sleeved 1/17. Lost 10 pounds I think the first week. Nothing since. Totally normal and i too am doing everything right. Don't fret

  21. I get the low fat, low sodium ones. When you are in week 2 and 3 and are just trying to stay hydrated and find something your tummy (and taste buds) will tolerate, sodium isn't a huge worry. My NUT told me not to worry about fat, calories or anything the first month. Just keep hydrated and train your tummy to accept foods. I'm eating mashed potatoes a lot now. Something that is not going to be a part of my diet later on.

  23. I'm on week 3. I used mild salsa and mild rotel so it wasn't very spicy but still good. I couldn't handle the taste of any plain old cream soups but this has really worked for me. I used the healthy heart low fat soups for all of them and it was great. The canned chicken blends up real easy too.

  25. I made chicken tortilla soup using cream soups and blended it to take out the chunks. Was amazing. 1 can chicken 1 cup smooth salsa 1 can cheddar cheese soup (or nacho for spicier) 1 can cream of mushroom 1 can cream of chicken 1 can cream of celery 1 can chicken broth 1 can Water 1 can rotel Season with red chili pepper, salt and pepper to taste I made this in crock pot and blended before I ate. Very yummy.
  26. I'm only 11 days out and have been stalled the last week, oddly enough. I don't think there is any thing to do except keep on course
