  1. Thanks for the feedback. I'm going to wait to see how I feel a couple weeks after 1st surgery before going back to weight loss clinic. Too bad they both couldn't have been done at the same time, I asked and both Dr.'s said no. Oh well, had to try. It is going to be a busy year.
  2. Hello. I started my journey on 11/26 with the WLC. During this time I also was scheduled to have an endometrial ablation on 12/13. The ablation was unsuccessful and now I'm having a hysterectomy next week. When I met with the weight loss surgeon on 12/23 I was not sure which surgery I was going to have first. He told me I should wait 6 months between procedures so my body would completely heal. After speaking with the OBGYN on 12/30 I decided to have the hysterectomy first. I was supposed to go see the NUT last week but called and told them what is going on and asked when I should resume my visits for the sleeve. Nurse I spoke with also thought I would need to wait 6 months to have the sleeve but said she would take to the MD and call me back. Well she called today and the doctor is now saying I would only need to wait 6 to 8 weeks to have the sleeve surgery!. This to me seems too short of a timeframe to have 2 laparoscopic back to back. Of course she said it could be longer depending how I heal and feel. Question, has anyone else here had a procedure before this surgery? If so, how long did you wait to have the sleeve done? Thanks. Tracy
  3. Just watched this. She is totally out of her mind. I can't get over the amount of food she was eating after surgery! I hope she got the mental help she needed. I felt so bad for the little boy.
  4. 284 current weight. Not a good week!
  5. I would make him cook his own meals for a week or so and then see if he could remember to be a little more considerate.
  6. Can I join? Haven't received my surgery date yet but want to lose as much as possible before I get sleeved. Starting weight 295 Goal weight 270
  7. Hello. I got my sleep apnea study and diagnosis in 2007. Use my CPAP every night, have really bad apnea. At my first meeting at the weight loss clinic (11/22) the initial doctor I meet with told me I would need to get pulmonary clearance for my surgery. I've been so busy I haven't had a chance to setup that appt. I had my appt with the surgeon on 12/23 and when I told him I haven't made the appt yet for pulmonary clearance he said I don't need it, I just need to bring my machine along when I get the surgery. Anyway, they never stated I would need to do another sleep study so don't think that is needed. I go back on 1/9 so I hope to get clarification if the pulmonary clearance is needed.
