This is heartbreaking. I am so sorry for your loss. I can't imagine what you have been going through. I have a sister and she and I are very close. I would be devastated if anything happened to her. I hope you can find peace in all of this. What surgery did you girls have? What state are you in?

I told my 11 year old Son, (My daughter is 4 so whats the point) and he was so amazing!! He looked puzzled at first and then said, "Mom your not even obese your just chubby." I said, "well according to doctors I am obese" he goes, "Doctors are sadists who are in business to watch people suffer" I DIED laughing. He is so brilliant it makes me beam with pride. I told him I will be skinnier and eat like a normal person. He said, "so your stomach will be the size of mine! Cool!" LOVE HIM!

Funny this is the first post I see this morning because just last night I was telling my best friend last night that I am scared she wont love me anymore after im a skinny non foodie, non drinker. She said, "OMFG are you KIDDING ME?! Did that really just come out of your mouth?" She goes, "Steph I love you!! All of you, big, little, skinny, fat, poor, rich, drunk, sober, whatever! We sill have tons of fun together when were sober so chill out mama, im here forever!!" I love her!

I'm in grass valley. My sleeve surgery is Wednesday. It took me 10 months to get through all the tests and weigh ins. I haven't really figured out how to post from my iPhone but I'll figure it out. OMG a local!! We have lived in Alta Sierra for Years and now live in LOP. Who's your surgeon? I'd love to talk to you more!

It is scary but you will be in very capable hands. Read and learn as much as you can on here. Follow the nutritionist's guidelines on Vitamins and Protein and you will set yourself up for success. WLS is more of a head game than anything else, I highly recommend regularly attending a support group. At almost a year out, I still attend and learn new things. My doc said it's cause I seem to have issues with sugar.. I told him I have sugar about three times a week an he said that's excessive. Puzzled I was like "whatever dude" and said I wanted the sleeve.

Of at I had my consult with my amazing surgeon, meeting with my nutritionist, meeting with pre and post op RN, meeting with the bariatric coordinator, my first support group and my first nutrition class!! From 2pm-7pm of doctors and specialists!! It was awesome!!!! However my surgeon suggested GB instead of the Sleeve I've been so focused on. I am still doing the sleeve though.

Ok so today I got home from 10 hours at work to a bag on my front porch.. I walk up to it squinting to make out what's in it and as I pick it up I notice it's the blanket I got her for Christmas. I'm like... Wth? Inside is everything I got her for Christmas!!!!!! Her bracelet, blankie, pillow and cool razor..... I was shocked!!! I came inside and went straight to my room and started sobbing..... I picked myself up for a moment to text her. I say, "why did you return your Christmas gifts? What the fuck is wrong with you?!" She replies, "oh that was three days ago it was stupid of me" so I ask my husband I he noticed it and he said no and then my 11 year old an he's all, "I saw it there Monday but forgot to tell you." I don't come in the front door I always come and go through the garage cause I park in there so I never saw it!!" I told her that it's fucked up and thanks to her in sobbing! She replies, "don't cry it was meant to mean that all I want is your love not monitory things" I never replied and I won't... I'm speechless......

It's all about the angle and lighting. I'm 35 and 245 lbs and my profile pic was taken last week! Lol!!!

So she text me today and said that I will understand how she feels when my kids are grown and treat me like an annoying neighbor..that no matter how hard she tries nothing is right.. Really?
