My pouch grew but my entrance to my stomach was complete blocked.I had heart burn so bad at night nothing worked. I would literally vomit acid in my sleep. I took the max doses of all the meds on the market. I was starting to get a lot of swelling in my abdomen, and every time i ate something I would normally have to throw up like I was stuck. I didn't have my band removed. He took all the fluid out and immediately i felt better. I had to keep all the fluid out for a month so that all the swelling could go down. So after I got all the fluid out i gained 50 lbs due to being able to eat anything i wanted again. It was mainly bad decisions on my part. Lesson learned. I got my fluid back in a couple weeks ago and I feel better now having the feeling back. Don't do like me and be hard headed I waited almost 2 months before I went to the dr.

I had my lap-band in 2013. Well about 5 months ago I kept throwing up and getting re-flux. I went to the dr and had to get all my fluid removed due to the band was dilated. Well after years of not being able to eat crap food I ate crap I shouldn't have. Well I had my first will 2 weeks ago since my unfilled. I have no hunger drive, the thought of food just makes me turn my head. I keep forcing myself to eat and its hard. In two weeks im down 20lbs.

I had the same problems. After 5 years I was constantly throwing up and had horrible acid reflex. It was so bad no amount of meds would help. Finally I went to the dr and my lapband was completely dilated.

So as of today I have lost 90 lbs I had my surgery Nov 19. I have a problem even though I have lost alot I'm still very self conscious

So the last couple weeks have been bad. I feel off the wagon big time then hit run over by it lol. I don't know why but ice cream and candy and crap were my bff. I feel guilty but I woke up and decided NO more. So I ate a small bowl of oatmeal. The good news while I was being a self indulging cow I kept up with the gym and I didn't gain weight or lose

I had my first fill couple hours ago and the needle hole is leaking like light pink fluid

By day 4 it should get better walk alot it helps

The second day was the worst for me by day 4 I felt great I went back to work on the ambulance 6 days after mine. It gets better

Im in bandster hell! I'm hungry and I feel like I'm over eating. I go Wednesday for my first fill. Sometimes I feel like I'm unbanded. Im frustrated and feel guilty.

I haven't had a dr pepper since day I decided to have surgery. I miss the carbonation of sodas, I wouldn't dare touch one cause im so scared of the repercussions like pain

I agree with the other ladies I had my done the 19 I feel great. I was walking right after I woke up from surgery. I was very lucky I didn't have shoulder pain so I couldn't help you there. I have more energy now then ever I have lost 40lbs since starting pre op diet. Never listen to the downers. You can do it!

Thank you all. I have been walking my butt off. I had bad gas pressure under my left ribs yesterday but I took some gas x and passed gas twice and it was gone. Only thing that was horrible I figured I.would sleep in my bed last night WRONG it was painful.I can't complain I'm doing ok
