    I was Soooooo happy to weight in at a BMI of 40.07...never in a million years I thought I would be happy to weight heavy. Usually I'm embarrassed to get on the scale at doc office. .life is so funny. .glad I was fat enough to qualify, since I have no health issues. Just thyroid, joint pain.

    I really wish insurance companies would do away with the 6-12 diets. It makes no sense, many if us are able to lose the weight. Keeping it off is a whole different story. They make you wait so much.

    I didn't take to long to decide on WLS my, I have a friend that had VSG done last year and she looks great. I also see a lot of patients that comes to my department for recovery. Hope to have my surgery April/May 2014, only thing in my way is the dreaded 6mnths diet required by insurance..wish I could fast forward time :-)
