@@wolfkrz - Congratulations on receiving your surgery date! When I finally receive my date it seemed to take a big weight off. LOL! All the work of research and education on WLS finally comes down to this is the day I put it all into play and start my new healthy life. Best of luck to you.

I have been freezing meals for my husband too. I have been focused on getting things ready in my house so after surgery I only have to think about a safe and quick recovery.

I have been working on this sense last October. Then my last class with my PCP and boom one day approval. Time is just flying by can't wait till July. Are you having surgery in Knoxville?

I am from Cookeville, and will have surgery July 31st at Vanderbilt in Nashville.

My big day is July 31st. It has been a long process. Can't wait to wake up and start my new life.

I have the Aria scale. it links thru wifi to update my online accounts like myfitnesspal. I like that I can print my food log and weight log to take to the doctors.

We took in "Pretty Girl" when my mother in law passed 11 years ago. We found Clyde in a dumpster 18 years ago. Sadly Clyde passed away two months ago. This picture was his response to cancer and chemo. Pets are wonderful and add so much to our lives.

I too use the Time Wise line. It works and is easy to use. A Mary Kay rep. will give you a free facial and samples of their product to try.

I agree with PdxMan. Alex this should be a must read for anyone wanting to post. We have all been brought up with different beliefs, values, and social etiquette. Having examples of what to post keeps everyone on the same page.

Congrats on taking the first step. I am on month 4 of 6 weight study with my PCP. I have learned a lot on this sight.

I have not had my RNY yet, but I just found out last week that Zoloft comes in a liquid. I too was worried about the size of the pills. Maybe you could try it.

Sounds like my first marriage Mine too!! Mine too as well! When I quit drugs and alcohol I was told " you need to change your playmates and your playground" or you will eventually go back to your destructive ways. I know the same will be true of WLS.
