  1. Doc says 4 weeks before lifting or exercise, except walking. I feel great and my external sutures are almost completely gone at 19 days post op. I purchased an elliptical machine and am chomping at the bit to use it. What's the consensus?
  2. I'm still on liquids but have purchased lots of things for on the go. Individual cups of peanut butter and hummus, mini greek yougurt cups, babybell cheese and string cheese, small pouches of shredded chicken and tuna fish. Thinking deli meats are easy too. Be well!
  3. Walk as much as you can, it helps relieve the gas. Mine was trapped up in my shoulder. Also found a heating pad across my belly and chest helped lots. I went and had a massage a fews days after. Go to someone who knows your body, not some corner place at the mall, It helped tremendously. Head, feet and hand work was amazing! Ask whomever is bringing you home to bring a pillow or two to help " hold you". Makes for an easier ride home. Best of health to you!
  4. Thinking of you and sending you lots of supported feelings! Be well.
  5. I was sleeved on October 14. I lost 26 lbs on the two week, pre op diet and down another 9 since surgery. Feeling very grateful! I am however now obsessed with the food channel and cooking the recipes for friends and family. It was sort of a joke at first and my hubby thinks its because I'm staving myself, 2 weeks liquid pre op, 1 week clear liquids, 2 weeks full liquids and 2 weeks puréed foods post op per doctors orders. I feel like a food network *****! Will this new obsession go away?
