Hands?
This is going to sound really silly, but I have "working hands" and stubby sausage fingers. Even after my mom got big, she maintained a delicacy to her hands and other features that I was always envious of. Now I'm wondering what my own hands might look like after I drop some weight. Did you folks notice a big difference in your hands? Anyone have pictures?

High Protein low carb pudding: Soft foods, full liquids
Actually I tried it last week when I ran out of clean cups to take milk to work , but I had some pudding cups laying around. By lunchtime, it was a weird foamy mess! I mean, it didn't stop me from eating it or anything. It's chocolate, lol.

Hit goal today! 125 pounds in 10 months - with pictures
Congrats - great job! The before and after finish line shots are really awesome, I love that one.

High Protein low carb pudding: Soft foods, full liquids
Yum! If you're lazy like me and try to modify this using prepackaged sugar free pudding cups, don't use a whole scoop of Protein powder. The texture gets weird - kinda like that spray foam contractors use to fill holes in walls

Impatiently waiting for a swimsuit
So our company arranged a gym discount for us and I decided to take advantage of it. While I was talking to the coordinator, I mentioned that I would be having surgery sometime early next year. That's when she told me they have an aquatic bariatric boot camp that just started. I had to order a new bathing suit, and I'm hoping to get it in time for the next class. No particular reason for sharing, I'm just excited about it . Also nervous about the suit. I got a pair of cover up shorts to wear over it, because as I've gotten bigger, I find my belly pushes the leg openings out and my hoo-ha, well, let's just say it gets a little too much air. Skirted suits only help OUT of the Water. I hope those shorts are long enough! How the heck do other big people wear "regular" suits without a problem? Is that going to go away post-op, or will my empty belly flap still try to..y'know...open the "windows" and make an escape??

Pregnant awaiting sleeve?
Congratulations! I'm not sure how long you'd have to wait, but if your insurance is anything like mine, you'll probably have to start your 6 months over again.

There's food on my Christmas tree!
I didn't put up a tree for a long time, so I had to start fresh this year - and yup, I have glass cupcakes all over my tree, lol.

Green Smoothie
Baby kale, spinach, strawberries and blueberries, sometimes I add a chunk of cucumber if I have it - yum! But it has to be baby kale for me, for some reason it tastes like spring. Regular "grown up" kale is too bitter for me.

5K = Gain?
Still pre-op, but I always gained after doing them too. Did you train for it? I never do, because I always forget how fat I am and assume I can do it just fine, then think I'm going to die halfway through - always figured it was muscle! Congrats on finishing, though!

Pre-Surgery Migraine Sufferers?
I'm anxious to hear replies from other sufferers. I'd be tickled to find out people's migraines decrease after surgery - one more reason to be excited about getting this done!

Quinoa Got Me Thinkin
I like it mixed with cabbage, ground turkey and soy sauce - tastes like the inside of an egg roll . Also saw a recipe online earlier for toasted quinoa. I don't remember where I saw it now, but it was being mixed into chocolate to give a "rice krispy" crunch.

This Is Ridiculous!
I just recently finished 4 of 6 - lost 2 months, gained 2 months, still right smack where I started. I do feel like some of my habits are getting better, like counting Protein and getting more Water in, stuff like that. Counts for something, right?

Study Tips
I'm just crossing my fingers and hoping everyone else tanked, too, so ours will do the same thing! That would be awesome! I'm equipment free at the moment or I'd give it a shot. Our boss had a stand up treadmill desk that he gave up on, but I don't think it ever got unpacked when we moved to the new office. I might have to see about staying late one day this week and trying that out!

Study Tips
I went back to school to finish my degree a few months ago, and got into a pretty bad habit. I'm running out of time to change that before surgery, and I don't want to take a break from school. 36 is creeping up on me, and if i don't finish now, I never will. It's hard enough to stay awake when I get home from work, but adding in classes (some of which I don't care about, they're just requirements to fill) has been TOUGH. The best way I've found to get through the studying and assignments is with food. When I start drifting, I snack. It's midterm week, and I'm down to my last few hours before everything is due. Know what I've eaten so far? Everything. I have eaten all of the things. Anyone have any non-food study focus tips that I could try? Thanks!

Help! The Mother Is Coming! <Cue Jaws Music>
Since you've had such awesome success, maybe just tell her you're on a serious, doctor approved low calorie diet and really determined to stick with it? Maybe make a production of looking at the menu online before you go to pick out what's in your calorie budget for dinner or something? Good luck - I wish my mom were still around to bitch at me

Food Gets Cold Eating This Slow
I read so many reviews that I can't remember where I read it, but I remember someone mentioning those little hotplate things that you can get to melt candles on. I think I've even seen them sold as mug warmers - something like this - http://www.amazon.com/Mr-Coffee-MWBLK-Mug-Warmer/dp/B000CO89T8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1385170908&sr=8-1&keywords=mug+warmer
