  1. Every day- but I am also lactose intolerant and most of the stuff I am having has milk
  2. Is cream corn purée? I am stuck on this purée diet...
  3. About 21 in first 2 weeks, now 27 and I'm 3 weeks toma. I also started out at a lower weight, 218
  4. Ewe...mouth or vagina..this is disgusting. Mine came out through the belly button and this is where I hear most are. I have 4 tiny incisions, then a big one in my belly button which you cannot see.
  5. I am 3 weeks out and I still feel the same way. Super depressed and want food so bad... I regret it every second..
  6. I had my sleeve 10/8. I am having nothing but regrets. All I think about is food. I'm so depressed. I don't think going to a psychiatrist will help this as I have done it before and it didn't. I didn't think it would nearly be this hard as I was told a hormone gets removed that produces the need for hunger and cravings. We'll guess what, I am always hungry and am always craving bread, pasta, and pizza. I used to go out to eat all the time also and it's killing me not. I know someone a year out and she eats whatever she wants in moderation and is still losing. I don't know if I will get to this point. I just want real food. I haven't even got to purée yet. I am so depressed and need major help.
  7. I would die if puréed were 9 weeks out. Mine is at 3, and I am barely making that. My soft foods is one month, and I'm already regretting this. I'm so hungry and want real food so bad.
  8. Oh no, that's horrible. My Molly was bad for about a year, but since then she is the best dog ever
  9. That is so sad. I cannot imagine. I would be a mess. My pug is my life, her name is Molly and she is 6 1/2. About health issues, Molly has had many UTI's which have cost me hundreds. She also has problems with her knee, it pops out constantly. She was 23 pounds, we got her down to 17 and is a lot better but still has issues from time to time. I would also love to get a baby black pug! I recently found one but just thought it wasn't the right time with my surgery and i have another surgery coming in December. But I am dieting to have one!!!
  10. This might be a stupid question but I am having a hard time understanding this. Why does your sleeve know when you're full when you're having the dence protein but there's not always that full feeling when you're having cookies, cakes, etc? I don't understand that. I thought the tool should have been with all foods. I probably would've never got the surgery if I had read these posts before. I want to be able to have a bite of pizza or a bite of macaroni and cheese. Now it just looks like I'm out for failure because there is no way I will be able to not have at least a bite of these in the future. I had talked with a friend who is a year out, and she is pretty much eating whatever she wants, which is healthy, but sometimes she will have snacks. She is still losing weight. I would thought I would be the same.
  11. I searched both books and cookbooks and I cannot really find anything good on here
  12. Can you please give me a quick lesson to Pinterest. I have no idea how to use it or find people. Only thing I know how to do is hit the search button!!
  13. I seriously never knew how much support there is out there. This is awesome!!! I have been on this website non stop since I got surgery!
  14. I just had EKG, blood work, chest x ray, vitals, physical, and paperwork. Btw, do you have pugs? I have one and she is the best!!
  15. Hey all. Just wondering if anyone of you have resorted to any books for support? Same with cookbooks for good recipes. I'm sure you have if you like to read. Can someone help me out with good ones? Hope I get some good responses. Thanks!!
  16. No, just got it done actually. But lost 16 pounds in first week. I give you a crap ton of credit, and like your advice, but all the girl wants is a couple bites of something and your putting her down for it. No one is perfect, and I'm sure you took one bite of something at some time you shouldn't have, that's all.
  17. I thank you for this also. I feel the same way. Many people have told me why are you even getting the surgery, you don't need it. But in actuality my BMI was 39. I love food. I could not diet anymore. I chose this as a tool to eat smaller portions and not eat everything in sight when I go to a buffet. There is no way in hell that I could possibly eat chicken, hamburgers, or turkey the rest of my life. I don't mind these foods. But I need to have some "bad" food once in a while. I love my pizza, macaroni and cheese, bread, and pretzels. I am ok with a couple bites, but I need them. I start puréed food on Monday, but I have been so discouraged on here with all the people saying why would you even want to try that stuff that's why you were heavy in the first place. But I enjoy those things. I need to know that I'm going to be able to have some of them in the future.
  18. Is oatmeal purée?
  19. I got it done on 10/8 and besides in the hospital where I was always sweating, I am non stop freezing. I am not a cold person, I am always hot. So this must be one of the changes, if it is, I know it's going to be really long winters ahead...
  20. Took me a week.
  21. Ewe, I hate lettuce!!! My weight and looks are very important to me, but also I do not want to be deprived because then I will plummet, and that's why diets did not work for me. I'm not saying bread and pasta daily but maybe 2-3x week should satisfy me, and just a couple bites. I have been craving since day 1. If i do not have I feel it will be a downward spiral.
