  1. Good luck to all getting sleeved this week! Don't push yourself to much and follow all directions. Sending good vibes out to all!
  2. I had my sleeve on Wednesday and I was just wondering how others get there fluid/protein requirements in? I feel like I am constantly shoving something down my throat and I am always feeling full. I am supposed to get 60-80 grams of protein in a day and even drinking the supplements it is hard. I want more water than anything else I am thirsty!!!! Am I expecting to much to soon?
  3. I can't believe the difference from yesterday. I woke up feeling refreshed and less sore. I have had some yogurt and am getting ready to go out for a short walk. I feel like I am going to be ok and I am going to get thru this experience. Thankful for all the love and support I have received. I feel excited today and ready to tackle a new challenge!
  4. I guess I am very blessed to work in an environment that is supportive. I was honest from the beginning with co workers and friends and I haven't had any problems. I even decided to put it on Facebook and share with them. I didn't want people gossiping or making up there own versions so I just put it out there. I have had tons of well wishes and support. When you start losing weight they are going to put it together and then you will just be a liar.
  5. I was sleeved on Wednesday the 23rd and I can't believe I would feel up to going back to work in a week. I took the 3 weeks my Dr. recommended. How were you feeling 3 days out. I am so sore and tired, I can't wait for this soreness to go away.
  6. I had 2 weeks of a high protein liquid diet b4 surgery. Days 1-3 clear liquids days 4-30 full liquids the n pureed food for a few weeks and then soft diet.
  7. totally agree you have to keep moving, walk ,walk, walk
  8. I am 3 days out and came home yesterday. I am sore but besides that just being home helps so much. I got my drain out b4 I left the hospital and they told me I can shower today! I can't wait it is going to feel so good to blow the stink off. My main concern is getting my liquid requirements in. I saw in my book it says to aim for 4oz every hour. So I am going to try and follow this today. Good luck with your journey!
  9. I have been feeling many of the same things. I am nervous I know I have worked hard to get to this point and I am ready but this is a life altering decision. My life is going to forever change and I am scared. I wish you much luck in your journey.
  10. My date is October 23, so close I am excited!
