Family and Recovery
I needed the support, just knowing someone was close by was helpful. That being said I did get annoyed and testy at times but my support people understood and took it with a grain of salt.

Skin? Dry, dry, dry, cracking, painful.
I use a sugar scrub made with cocoanut oil everyday when I shower it keeps my skin from drying out. I make my own found recipe on Pinterest.

sleep apnea?
I was being treated for apnea some years back. At that time I stopped using the Cpap because I had water come up and choked me. However when I started my WLS journey I had to be tested again and my apnea was Worse then before. My doctor told me that the hose is heated now to prevent the condensation from building up, which is why I had the water choke me. I went back on Cpap it took months to get use to it but I am glad I did because I feel so much better now.

Fear of not losing enough weight
I did feel that way, but now I am so glad I did it. Wouldn't change a thing. I am losing a little every week and I am so happy. Some days are harder that others but over all it has been a positive change. I think your fears are normal.

How often do you weigh?
I try to weigh once a week and no more. So I don't see the fluctuations. I record it and move on. Sometimes I have to fight with myself not to get on it more.

hunger hormones comes back after surgery
I have been getting very hungry within an hour of eating it is frustrating, I keep telling myself that I am thirsty not hungry which is true most of the time. I have to sip all day between meals to keep my stomach happy. I am eating 3oz at a meal and 3 meals and 1 to 2 snacks usually my Snacks are cottage cheese, cheese sticks or turkey bits.

Loose skin?
I was watching Dr. Oz today it was about anti aging and skin care. One of the things that was brought up was using a collagen supplement { collagen hydrolyzed } which is in a pill form. It helps the skin from the inside out. I figure it might be worth trying. 2 1000mg once a day on a empty stomach.
