  1. Can you consult with all three? I usually try to get reviews from www.vitals.com and Angie's list as well. Good luck.
  2. Belize that is one hell of an experience. I am so glad you are starting to get better. Thank you for sharing.
  3. I've only read the first page and I'm already scared to death.
  4. WTH!!! I'm sorry that's just ridiculous. You would think they would approve it to prevent further illness or complications in the future. How is your blood pressure and or diabetic status? I would think asthma would help to get it approved. Good luck, I hope it works out.
  5. I haven't but will keep an eye out. Thanks for the heads up.
  6. I have not had surgery yet so I can't imagine what you are going through right now. I hope and pray it gets better for you soon.
  7. I love my vitamix. I agree it is rather expensive but the things you can do with it. I love the fact that you can make soup as well as many other things.
  8. I get that a lot too. I take that it is meant as a compliment and keep it moving. I'm actually only 5' 5" but I'm pretty solid or so I'm told. People don't believe I'm 285. I honest don't think it is meant as a diss Alysha. There are a lot of other things people could say if the intent was to do harm. Just my opinion.
  9. I have a vitamix and wondered the same thing. I make smoothies in mine usually fruit, kale or spinach, green tea, and sometimes my vega powder. I'm trying to find my protein power and drinks now so I can have an idea of textures and tastes.
  10. I just order some samples. Thanks for posting.
  11. That's awesome Smilez!! I had to cancel my consultation next week due to a family emergency so I rescheduled for November 1st. I'm sure I will have to jump through hoops and stand on my head for my insurance company. Good luck and cheers to the beginning of your magnificent new future!!
  12. Thanks for the feedback.
  13. Honestly I'm still on the fence. I have my consultation on November 1st. I have so many health issues (diabetes, hypertension, depression, and so on) and recently found out I need spine surgery; which is why I started really thinking about it. I unfortunately am a very bad emotional eater with no will power. I read some of the comments and wonder how I am going to do it. My former cardiologist told me "It's not a matter of if you are going to have a heart attack it's a matter of when." What do you do with news like that? I'm so afraid I'm going to fail yet again but I know if I don't do something soon I'm going to die. I am terrified of having the surgery but also terrified of not having it.
  14. Frank I'm so sorry for your loss.
  15. Welcome home and congrats on the 20 lbs that's awesome!!
  16. Unfortunately, I haven't had surgery yet.

  19. I'm just curious how has your hunger level been since surgery. I think about that now and wonder how I am going to make it through not eating real food for a while.
  20. First of all I'm glad you are okay but that is awesome!!
