Thanks forwardlooking for the reply....I have also been struggling with the water intake. I think that is why I'm not losing as much. I get my 3rd fill tomorrow so I hope that I start losing more!!!????

I was banded on 11/21/2013 I have lost a total of 21 lbs so far. At times I feel as of I'm not losing like I should be. I have 3cc's in my band now. I understand that everybody is different but is this normal for me to lose slowly?

How many cc's do you have in your band and do you have a 10cc band or a 10cc band

How many cc's do you have in your band and what size do you have?

Does it depend on your weight or size of your stomach? I was banded weighing 295 and I have a 10cc band. Just curious as to the way the doctor decides what size of band to use.

Not sure what state you are but True results has a finance program you should give them a try.

I'm so proud of you!!! My situation is similar to yours. Last year I was diagnosed with high blood pressure and in August I had a heart attack at age 36, and developed diabetes after that. I have always struggled with my weight but I was able to manage. After all that I decided to have my lap band so that I could still be around to care for my children. I have prepared my self mentally to succeed in this wonderfull journey ahead of me and i'm ready to post all of my accomplishments in future. The LORD has given me the strength to continue. Has anyone taken papaya enzymes after lap band? Is it ok to take?

That happened to me on my first fill also. So today when I got my second fill it happened again but much less than the first fill so I asked the np and she said that I was the first person that mentioned that after a fill. She said that everybody reacts different and stated if you feel chest discomfort or gurgling after you sip water than your band is too tight. If that's the case you have to get some removed. I had to do that on my first fill. ????

I'm 6wks post op and after my first fill I had left shoulder and arm pain. Is this normal?

The biggest incision is where the port is located. Mine is located up above my belly button.
