Agree with 2muchfun....call your doctor so you can get a piece of mind. I was banded on 11/21/2013 with Dr. Benavides and have lost a total of 35lbs to date. I read your posts and realized you had surgery at true results richardson, how much have you lost and how many cc's do you have in your band?

You are so right...I had my first fill 5weeks post op and had 2ccs and I now am 13 weeks post op and have 5.5ccs. I've lost a total 35lbs. Had my band been primed I probably would of lost more but I'm perfectly happy with my loss!!! Please don't get discouraged if you have a slow loss because eventually you will get there. Patience is the key to success and with GODS will everything is possible!!!????????????????

Why is my band so tight in the morning? It gets looser around noon.

Yes....it's normal unless the sight is either red,swollen or hot to the touch. If it is it may be an infection. You should be fine.????

Sorry to hear that....I'm 2mths post op and am trying to be really careful. How many months post op were you. I have an appointment tomorrow hope all goes well. Hope your feeling better.

Curious to know what symptoms you get from band slippage? After my first stuck episode I've noticed a slight dull but achy pain on my left side close to my rib.

Had my first stuck episode yesterday from eating chicken breast. Have had a little pain under my left rib. I'm 2mths post, has anyone experienced this before?

I have to get my fills under flouroscope because the nurse practitioners miss it by a hair. I actually like for them to do it that way because im able to see when they do it . How soon after your surgery did they notice your port was flipped and did you experience any pain?

Awesome!!! I'm post op..I had surgery on 11/21/13 and just had my 3rd fill on Wednesday. I've lost a total of 24lbs including my pre-op diet. I started out at 310lbs so I think I've done a good job!!! If you don't mind me asking what was your starting weight and how much have you lost? Also was your band filled at time of surgery?

Awsome!!!! I was banded the same day.☺☺ I have lost a total of 25lbs and that's including my pre-op diet. I had a hiatal hernia repaired at the same time so according to my surgeon I was too swollen to add fluid.???? I'm still very excited for my loss it just puts me a step closer to my goal!!! I'm from Tx, where are you from?

Thanks for the reply....I hope you feel much better and PLEASE don't get discouraged about the unfill, it's better to start slow and be comfortable. Rather than regretting your decision. My first fill started at 3cc's but was having a hard time keeping water down. I felt a gurgling sensation in my throat so luckily I was still at my drs office and had 1cc removed. Today I had my 3rd fill and I have already noticed the difference in my hunger. I'm not hungry!!! ☺☺☺ Yay for me!!! By the way I have a total of 4.5 cc's now. How much did you weigh at time of surgery and what size of band do you have? If you don't mind me asking? I see many of y'all have had saline put in at time of surgery. That's why I'm asking.

Icy one how much weight have you lost? I also have a 10cc AP allergen band but my band was empty at time of surgery. HOW many cc's do you have in total?
