Great post!! Your positive attitude is awesome!! Thanks for sharing. It is amazing how weight loss can change a person physically and mentally. After only a loss of 16 lbs. so far, I too feel great. My aches and pains are going away and I have a totally different attitude. Thanks again!
I still have the same problem. I was banded on October 4th. Usually 1/2 way through my work day I can tell it is getting irritated. I was told by my doctor that there is still fluid behind the port and it just takes time for the fluid to get absorbed into your body. He was not worried about it at all. I was told to put a little heat on the area which I did try and it does feel better after I do that. Good luck!
OMG, I feel your pain. My surgery was on Oct. 4th and I still have pain at the port site. Usually 1/2 way through my work day it really starts to bother me. Not feeling to bad today until I sneezed!!! OMG, I thought I just ripped my port out. It hurt soooo bad. So, no matter how you feel, if you are going to sneeze, hold the port area tight. I hope it doesn't always feel like that!!! Good Luck with your journey!!
I love the hand warmer idea. I still have some swelling by my port site so will try that today. Good luck wih your journey! My just started on Oct. 4th!!
I was banded 3 weeks ago. I am to a point that I feel I can eat almost anything
without feeling any restriction. Is this normal because I lost my first 16 lbs right
away and now just trying to make good food choices so I don't gain the weight
back prior to my first fill. I am even getting hungry between meals.
