Hey~ It will be 2 yrs on Feb 26 for me and I am down 116. The first year was pretty good. This past year has been kinda crappy. Just due to life. Life is always throwing us curve balls. I have good weeks and bad weeks. Right now I am on a plateau. If anybody has any suggestions, it would be appreciated. Court

My band and port names are Thelma and Louis! lol. I love that movie. My band and port are in this battle against weightloss together til the end! lol.

Hey everyone~ Can I join to. It will be 2 years at the end of the month since I got my band. I to lost alot with in the first year and half but hen life happened, lol, and I have kinda hit a plateau. I have been low carbing it for about a week now and have lost about 5 pds. I could use all the help I can get. I am also getting a little burnt out on my exercise routine, anybody have any suggestions?

I Love my Bodybugg. I seen that there is a new one now. I wonder what the difference is? Has it just been updated. Who knows really. Lol.

Hi Everyone~ I was banded on Feb 26 as well. I am doing good. My incisions are still a little sore and getting itchy!:scared2: I was banded at the Institute for Advance Bariatric Hospital by Dr. wanda Kaniewski She is Wonderful. The whole staff is wonderful!:cursing: The only thing I hate and am getting tired of is the Liquid diet. I have to be on it for two more weeks, then I get to move to the mushie stage. I am so ready! I has to be on a 10 day liquid diet before surgery as well. This is the begining of my new life!!! Hope to make some new Band Firends!!!:drool: Court

Hey Pam~ I would like to know how you are doing and how much you have losted? Hey everyone~ I just wanted to know if everybody else is doing okay? Just thought I would let everyone know that I have to start my battle over with a new doctor. This really sucks!! I have to go to his seminar, I wish every doctor would accept every other doctors seminars! Well I think I am done whining, hope everyone has a good week and weekend! Courtney

Hi~ I just wanted to put a little cents in about the man that got the bypass and said he wished he could of got the lapband. My gradmother got the bypass in the 70's sometime to and she lost a lot of wieght but she gained it all back! I once wanted to get the bypass until I found out about the band. Now I would never evey think about getting the bypass. Even if I have to pay out of my pocket for it.

Hey Candysmooch~ Everything is crazy around here. I am to going to have Dr. Malley do my surgery if I ever get it done. Right now it seems that I will never have it done. Today I have to go get my old records from the old office and take it to Dr. Malleys new office. Well hope everything is going good for everyone else here in Missouri!

Hi everyone! I am going to have my surgery with doctor Malley, his new office is on Northoak Trafficway. His number is 1-913-851-3482. As soon as I called them and talked to the receptionist and told her about what the other office did to me, (which was that they said that they did not accept my insurance anymore the day that it was approved!) she could not believe it and she was one the phone with my insurance company trying to get things situated the next day which was friday. So, I think that if you are still going to go to the old office I would really think about it. They wanted me to pay $6800 out of my pocket even though my insurance would pay for it. VERY fishy if you think about it!! Just my thoughts about MWIBS.
