It will be melting off of you dear in a matter of time!

  9. I stalled 2-3 months out, I actually one month only lost 1lb but then the next month I lost 30! Remember your body needs to catch up, this is traumatic for our bodies and it needs time to heal. The first two weeks post op I actually gained!! I was freaking out but it all comes off!!!

  12. Hey everyone, I'm Allison and new to this RNY talk! I had gastric October 12th 2012 and that's the day my whole life changed. Two years ago my parents brought up having WLS to me since they both have had it. I honestly thought that WLS was the easy way out and I would never resort to that option. At that time I weighed 260 and the day I decided to go through the process I weighed 300!!! I have PCOS and high risk for diabetes...and so I finally did research and after 6 months, it was my day, my day to change my life forever, my eating habits, self esteem, and outlook on my life! My starting weight was 322 and today I weigh 204 my goal is 165 and my height is 5'9. The first two months were depressing, I didn't see results although people would tell me I look different and I think it finally hit me that my relationship with food will never be the same. I needed to find something else to cope with my feelings and boredom. I was a night snacker and would even hide my eating habits. I ate even when I wasnt even hungry!!! But once I started to notice my clothes were lose and inches were gone I knew that my self esteem started to blossom. I have never been this happy ever! I am truly blessed that I got this opportunity and support from family, friends, and the medical team! Morning of surgery! Side View 10-12-12 I know a little revealing but I want people to see my excess skin after 8 months post op! 204lbs, 40 more to lose!
  13. Good luck! Here's to the beginning of your new life!
