So my friend of more than 15 yrs rarely speaks to me. Ever since I told her I was having the gastric bypass done she has slowly stopped texting, emailing or calling me. What do you guys think about that?

Stopping at the pharmacy to pick up pain meds then headed home, talk about a painful ride home geez Any thoughts on applying heating pads to relieve bloating, good or bad idea?

thanks i knew that lol, but was still wide eyed when i saw the scale finally ate sime full liquids it took me 3 hrs but im pacing myself .. im walking around plenty too

I gained 14 lbs since surgery day I am too bloated too eat or drink anything ((

I had my surgery July 3rd and still here!! I cant seem to get enough fluids dwn!! Its so had to drink if ur tummy is sooo bloated and mine is supppperr bloated! I have tried walking aroud and tht hasnt helped!!! Any suggestions! Until i can tolerate enough fluids I cant go home, get depressed and frustrated

Okay question, if i dropped 25 lbs has my liver shank enough! I am super paranoid and nervous with surgery 3 days away. Plus I cheated I had a grilled chicken salad today. it was my birthday meal Did I mess up!?

I am having surgery July 3rd. I wanted to plan a trip back home on July 24. Should I wait longer? Any words of advice? Also I am wondering how much weight people lost within the first month post op? just curious. I am currently 275.

I am having gastric bypass surgery July 3rd and my drs is also taking out my gall bladder since its full of stones. Is my insurance gonna cover the cost for the chole removal? Anyone know.. my insurance is Aetna..

I am still waiting for my nutritionist to contact me I was supposed to start my liquid diet on 6/18. I have been doing my own thing with protein shakes (80 g) per day. Also throwing in chicken soup (healthy choice low sodium). What am I supposed to eat? I had some gallbladder issues and put myself on a strict regimen in May I lost 35 lbs as of today. Still planning on dropping another 15-20 before surgery on 7/3!

I am a few weeks away! I am very nervous! Anyone have any advice? I am having the roux en y procedure.
