Hey all you Juners, i have to share this with you. Irishkat, dont be so down on yourself. you have reconized that you still have some eating issues. Im proud of you! for admitting it, but also you should realize what a big step this is, your more focused on achiving your goal than being driven to snack. i had a similar thing happen 2 weeks ago with " flatbread" aka big expensive ohhh so tastey crackers. bought a box on Friday ....GONE by Sunday at noon. I , much like you realize that i will more than likly have food issies for the near future. my short term solution is to 1. remove / dont have " trigger" foods in my home 2. identify the reason. I have determined that "snacky" = boredom I try to be busy all of the time. while it can be exhausting :-) it seems to be working. I limit my TV time just until im ready for bed and only have a popicicle ( sugar-fee) to combat head hunger. Hope this helps. we all have similar issues so you not alone. and i know your going to be sucessful! your awesome !!!!!!! RJ- June Post Ops!
I know, i just ignore it any way i have mine at 1000 per my nut. im more intrested in the intake numbers.. thanks for the check....never hurts to get input. :-)- New guy
Awesome work! you inspire me.- New Person! !
Welcome to the forum, you have come to the right place. lots of fantistic people in here. Ask any question you can think of , someone has gone through it and will have some insight to a possible solution Best of health to you and a speedy recovery RJ- 3 Week Post Op
To all of you who had surgery in the past couple of weeks best of luck to all of you. you have made the best choice to get to your goal weight. Im not going to lie to you, its tough at first but as anyone will tell you Sip all the fluids you can stand. get in protien by whatever source you can. walk your butts off it helps ease the paint and starts you off on the exercise train. If something/you does not feel right CALL YOUR SURGEON!!! But it will start paying off soon, dont cheat!!! exercise and hit your daily numbers. oh and my advise put the bathroom.scale in the closet. your body will vary daily between 2 to 3 lbs based on.alot of factors.. dont dive yourself crazy!!!! weight yourself once a week or bi-weekly. remember its just a number. judge your progress on how you feel and how your cloths fit. I wish all of you the best health and a speedy recovery. RJ- June Post Ops!
Julee, great app check it out you can have it on your pc or ipad or smart phone all at the same time and it syncs between all 3. alot of people from RNYT are using it, has a social aspect also. the best thing it your nutrition for you. the only thing you need to be aware of it does not account for the rny so the caloric goals are skewed. if you load the app look me up, my user name is WeightWarrior450 have a great day RJ- June Post Ops!
Mel, I just checked your profile on RNYT any your patient data has you as 0.0 Ft 0.0 Inches Tall..... you must be really really tiny. :-) LOL- June Post Ops!
Look me up on MFP weightwarrior450- June Post Ops!
Mel I was having the same issue from my Android , You do need to do this off a pc based system. RJ- June Post Ops!
Way to go Julee :-D , proud of you! good move to send the leftovers back with your son. have a sugar free something you earned it tonight! Life moves on and how you deal with your change is ever so important to your sucess in the journey you have started. RJ- June Post Ops!
You can do this. we have to live in this world of sugar and what sounds like some good ol stick to your ribs cooking. just keep your goal in mind the feeling you will have when you hit yoir goal weight will be sweeter than 10 thousand caramel apple cakes. Go out for a walk around the block , shake it out ...... RJ- Protein Shakes after WLS?...
- Protein Shakes after WLS?...
No i meant G3.....:-) its designed for retaining muscle mass. you dont want to lose muscle during this journey- June Post Ops!
Thanks. ill check it out when i go to the market later this week.- Protein Shakes after WLS?...
its closer to a flavored water , you can see through it, I cut mine with cold water its kinda sweet but no problems with it. only $1.59 at my local target. Since i commute to work its all about being portable so between the G3, my protien powder shake and a luna lemon twist protien bar im set for each. 8 hour work day. I get. 55 grams of protien at work between the three during the course of the day. if you include my breakfast and dinner i get close too 100 grams of Protien a day RJ- Protein Shakes after WLS?...

Sara Beth, Thanks!, Thought they were the same thing .... Do you know the difference? I'm just concerned about the fat content. I have never been a big cheese eater but i do love feta cheese on everything , do they have Feta cheese ? RJ- June Post Ops!
Rhyzell, How is Skinny Cow? I have heard several other forum members mention it . Is that the one that comes in tiny wedges? and do they have different flavors ? any recommendations ? Thanks RJ - June Post Ops!
