  1. I agree with you! It is important that you are mentally ready to make serious changes in your eating habits. You have to be ready to give up unhealthy habits and embrace a new way of life or you will find yourself unsuccessful. This surgery is a blessing but you have to be ready to make changes for a lifetime or you will fail! I'm 21 weeks post op and I've embraced a healthy lifestyle. I am exercising and trying my best to eat right. I still enjoy good food but I've given up fried foods and high fat food. I just completed a 5k last Saturday, Something I never thought I would accomplish. You can do it just get your head in the game and commit to making the necessary changes! Good luck! I wish you the best.

  4. My surgery was on a Monday. I went to church Sunday and watched the Hallmark and Lifetime channel movies the day before. Got up early and went to the hospital Monday morning at 5:30am for the surgery! Nothing adventuresome. Now I did have a big dinner the day before my liver shrink diet! I started my diet on a Monday and it was Easter Sunday the day before. I had a huge meal!! Lol. Glad to day I did excellent on the liver shrink diet and lost 16 pounds. I'm now 21 weeks out today and I've lost a total of 76.5 pounds! Good Luck!

  6. That's amazing! I wish I could say that! Lol! I am getting there just gotta keep pushing also! I was surprised at the time I was able to finish. I would love to get to a 12 minute mile. That's my ultimate goal to finish a 5k in 36 minutes so I gotta keep working at it. How does it feel to be in the 140's? How tall are you and what size do you wear? I'm 5'5 and a size 16 now. Just curious what I'd wear at a 145 pounds. E

  21. I am so excited! I am sitting on a plane and I'm able to fasten my seatbelt without having to ask for a seatbelt extender! I have flown for the last two weeks for work and haven't had to ask for one and today I'm on a different airline than I normally fly and I don't need an extender for their planes either. So seatbelt extender free on American & Delta airlines! I am smiling from ear to ear!
