  1. That's great! I struggled with protein the most I would get the fluids in usually no prob it was the food intake I had a hard time with. Thankfully it did seem to all kinda work it's way out. Was scared with work or traveling. Do u like sugar free Popsicles? That counts as your fluids too
  2. I wish I could trade with u and give u a break for a bit. 7 weeks out and nothing really seems to make me go. Have u had bowel issues like ibs before? Stay hydrated cause I'm sure that's very taxing on your system.
  3. I'm hoping its gonna come soon! I know how much u are ready for it and I'm hoping your answer is in the way!! We can start a phone tree for u and all of us call em til they give u a date j/k but I'm crossing my fingers u hear soon
  4. Yep and prob painfully so. So that's a good thing!!! So u gonna join our get to know u session me & Krystal have started up? Lol
  5. Thanks! I've turned out pretty well I think sometimes Im the dark Water than runs deep. So u were on the lower spectrum of bmi when u had surgery? I was below 40 at 37 something but with the comorbidities it went straight through with approval after finally submitted. Did they give u the goal weight of 120? I remember u mentioning that number once since we started out about same height and weight.
  6. Yeah it's more scar tissue that forms u would probably feel a lot more constricted upon swallowing. My dr said that's why the diet phases were so strict to not irritate the surgical connections to keep it more supple preventing that scarring.
  7. What has your diet consisted as? I was told I'm not getting enough carbs and its slowing me. Any one particular exercise type that has seemed to work? Sprinkle the thin dust my way girlie!!
  8. Hmm yeah maybe just some lymph nodes. Idk maybe the salt water will help..hope so. I keep allergy issues so some mornings I wake up gargling glass and swallowing golf balls
  9. Ok about me.... Alaina Is my name..mama to a 9yr old boy..married to a active duty Air Force member. Live in FL for the last 4years have nearly reached my 3rd anniversary with my husband who is a wonderful dad to my son thankfully as my ex isn't. I grew up in MS in a very rural farm area. Poverty in childhood has made me strong! I am a LPN and getting geared back up for school soon. I have 2 stepchildren ( out of state)I love but not quiet always relate to. My son had a autism spectrum disorder who keeps me on my toes. I have 2boxers...Hero and Hollie..my really most faithful companions as my husband and son do leave me at times etc but my dogs are my one constant and the ones that have never left me. As I getting older I like more domestic things...quilting in funky fabrics, gardening and growing food, making my own butter and other items...love making goat milk soap. I struggle with low self esteem and desperately want to get over my sleep apnea. My heart yearns to have at least another child but I've had 3 miscarriages the last being in 2010 and never conceived again. I have found thru a tragedy with my mom and sister we have a clotting disorder which is why I've had miscarriages. My sister has brain damage from age 22 after having a quarter sized blood clot hit her brain after bc pills. I'm happy to even have a sister still. Sometimes I'm so goofy and totally random. I'm the comedian of my group usually. I try to be positive and laugh even when I'm not feeling so positive. I love helping people and being creative. I love college sports...mainly sec foot ball and NCAA basketball. I've been described as a cross between southern belle and country girl. I love chocolate! I love comedy and scary movies that freak me out. ......well that's some about me in a nutshell
  10. Wow!! You're a tough cookie! Want u on my side during a crisis!!!
  11. Sinus allergy issues? Salt water gargle maybe see if it helps?
  12. My son is visiting his grandparents for a couple weeks so if I don't check in with y'all and if I'm not at work it's usually just the dogs I have to talk to.
  13. Mine I think only likes me cause I do talk and he doesn't feel he has to lol I find myself randomly checking in here too a lot.
  14. FL I a,ways forget with folks too. I don't know everyone's real name. I thought about asking folks if they wanted to share anything about them. Would put more pieces together about the person as a whole we are getting so close to. I don't mind sharing some small tidbits
  15. Someone else said shrimp too...I'd be soooooo sad cause I love it!
  16. Yes!!! Can u tell I'm bored tonight? I'm all Chatty Cathy!!
  17. Had a cousin like that...just with cars, wedding dresses, and pregnancy..then came careers. We no longer speak..kinda a toxic interchange and I just don't like feeling like she was competing. Maybe she truly is mouthing off but secretly watching u for reaffirmation to do what she may be really afraid to do at 1st.
  18. I think certain dr's want to have like a upper gi etc so that's prob what it is. July is about here!! That's so exciting!! Get ready for the wild & wonderful ride!
