  1. I Love Collage video, you can watch part of the workout and the reviews really help with the choice.
  2. I had my surgery on the 24th and I have been feeling pretty good. But my taste buds are not the same, I can't tolerate real sweet tasting things like crystal light and the protein shakes. I am going to try the unflavored stuff, I hope that goes down easier. My Dr had me do one week liquids, one week pureed, and one week soft foods. No beef, raw vegetables too hard on the pouch, he also said no white starches. So far so good.....
  3. I had staples which they took out the day I went home, and used the strips. It was almost 3 weeks before they fell off. They left a rash and were really itchy....glad they are gone now.
  4. I had the same problem, my nut and Dr said to do milk of magnesia. That miralax is a fiber and not too good for the new tummy. You should call your Dr.
  5. Could you please send me one too ...... elizajo@outlook.com Thanks
  6. My Dr and nut said the same thing no raw vegetables for 6 months, and no white carbs. Maybe it is a healing issue I will ask at my apt.
  7. OMG that is sooo funny...thanks for the smile
  8. Hi Lisa........... Right after my surgery everything tasted so super sweet. It will be 3 weeks for me and sugar free is not as sweet today. Now at least the Jello and sugar free popsicles taste good. Try some broth or some peppermint herbal tea, that may help. Hope you feel better.
  9. That sounds really good........I love "It's a wonderful life"
  10. I found this website http://www.gastricbypasscoaching.com/sample-menus/ they have some good ideas. I start mine on Thurs, and I really can't wait. Hope this helps
  11. Hi Everyone!! I had my RNY on the 23rd revised from the lap band. The surgery took a little longer because of the scar tissue around the band. I feel pretty good and trying to get the walking in and the pain seems less with the walking. I have not had anything but clear liquids and looking forward to having the pureed foods. I made chicken today and pureed them and froze them in ice cube trays. I am making the veggies tomorrow so I have everything ready for the next step. I cant wait to have something red, that must sound weird but it seems that red is in a lot of drink mixes. I got home Friday afternoon and I have not weighed myself the doctor said that the gas and the iv would make my weight a little higher so I will wait until my first pre-op on Friday. I can't wait to sleep on my stomach again.....
