  1. Things couldn't be any better! Surgery 7/2 and down 68 lbs! Went from a size 24 to a size 12 and almost out of the 12's! Thank God for WLS!
  2. Starting my 8 week post op. Down 50.8! Been traveling alot for work so it's been a challenge eating out...but what I am doing seems to be working. I still struggle getting my protein in every day!
  3. Have my first post op appt today. Surgery was 7/2. I am currently down 30 lbs! Nutritionist and surgeon were very pleased with everything. I have no restrictions and can do anything I want! I can eat any anything I can tolerate and he is letting me skip the pureed stange! yay!! Just chew really well. My surgeon always makes me feel so great. He told me I looked great and keep up the good work!!
  4. These kind of people are exactly why I chose not tell anyone about my surgery but my husband and daughters. People are so jealous and nosy and just can't be happy when others do something for themselves! Keep your heads up and keep up the good work!
  5. My surgery was 7/2. My post op appt isnt until 7/31. I am feeling fine...trying to keep hydrated. I go back to work tomorrow. ..hopefully that goes well.....no one knows I had this surgery! I sit behind a desk all day so it should be fine as llong as I get up and go for a walk every hour or so!
  6. I think am doing great! No nausea, no drain. Walking several times a day. Have slept in my own bed! Still working out all the vitamins and when to take them. Surgery was on Tuesday and am down 3 lbs.
  7. I can't wait to get on the loser board!!
  8. The RNY was about an hour then another hour in recovery. Home now and cant wait to jump in the shower. My daughter just told me I didnt even look like I had surgery! LOL
  9. My surgery was a breeze! No drain tube....and just an overnight stay! Waiting for my discharge papers to be finished. I cant wait to get home! !
  10. I can't wait to start my new life's journey! I am keeping positive thoughts that everything goes smoothly. I thank God for my wonderful husband who is so supportive! See you all on the loser's side!! ♥

  15. July 2 is my new INDEPENDENCE DAY!! YAHOO!
  16. I started this journey on April 1. I didnt know if my insurance would even cover WLS. I am so lucky, it covers it like any other surgery! I did the psych eval and the pre-op tests. Will have my nutritional class next week the surgery on JULY 2nd!! My independence day!!! I am so blessed!
