Ok ladies....one thing I am looking forward to after surgery is less noise while I'm walking and my thighs rubbing! Lol. We have been testing all week. So just imagine a classroom where you can literally hear a pin drop. Lol! So embarrassing, but just one thing I am looking forward to after I lose weight.
  3. My secondary insurance is Aetna. They didn't give me hard time, but there were more hoops to jump through. My primary insurance didn't require as much and Aetna would not supplement the difference. My coordinator said that they are not difficult as long as you have the documentation. I think they wanted 2 years documentation, 3 nutritional classes, psych evaluation and if BMI is less than 40, a documented comorbidity.
  4. I'm not suppose to start my liquid diet until the 21st. I decided to start yesterday with just two shakes and then a sensible dinner. Then on the 21st, just shakes ALL DAY!! I must say that they fill me up and I have plenty of energy. This is only the second day though!!
  5. Thanks you so much!
  6. Sending a prayer your way. Good luck!
  7. I plan on doing this soon as hubby gets home from work. Great idea!
  8. Lol! My husband is so supportive but I know he is tired of hearing about it. We normally spend Sunday enjoying a movie or lunch, but I made him cone with me to get all of my necessary items after surgery. He was a great help with pickibg out protein mixes.
  9. I just bought Isopure zero alpine punch flavor. I must say it is pretty good. Not a fan of milky drinks. This reminds me of crystal light. Not too sweet.
  10. Congrats! Welcome to the club Leslie!
  11. Mjlange68, It took a week for insurance approval and maybe a day for the doctor's office to call back. They planned a May date for me but I had to reschedule for June. It shouldn't take long. You can contact your insurance as well. I know I called to verify if the doctor submitted and they were able to tell me the process of my claim. Keep us updated
  12. TransformingBri, We have the same surgery date and I start my diet on the 21st as well. Girl I have been eating everything and my Dr. On the last visit said I gained 5 lbs but it will all change after surgery.
  13. I would love to have a copy as well. Ltchambers@msn.com
  14. Let the countdown begin!
  15. Great! I'm a teacher as well. June 4th for me
  16. Great....let us know. I noticed they gather a list for each month. Just looking for a few people to share my journey with. My date is June 4th. 34 more days! Ltchambers@msn.com
  17. Anyone scheduled for June?
  18. Thanks! This is a great website. I look forward to sharing my journey with you all.
  19. Hi everyone, I decided to join a forum since I now have a surgery date. June 4th is right around the corner and I'm getting a little nervous now.
