  1. Speaking of getting together... Anyone on here live in San Antonio tx ??
  2. That is amazing. Made my day to read this:)
  3. I'm loving it too! My kids are like why aren't you eating chocolate anymore. I use to eat it all the time. Several times a day. This is great
  4. So I had a conference to attend all last weekend and it was all day so we had a luncheon every dAy and snacks were available constantly. They serve you food at the luncheon and everybody noticed my lack of eating very much. It was awkward and I found myself stumbling for excuses. I made a few poor excuses but now I'm an opus what to do in that situation Some of these same people ask me to lunch and I am too nervous to go! I don't want people to think I have an eating disorder but I feel that is the impression I'm giving off. Especially to people who have known me for a long time and know that I became very ill with anorexia about a decade ago. I have only told three people about my surgery and have no interest in letting anyone else know. So what do you guys say when that awkward moment comes??
  5. Great attitude to have. I love it!
  6. Man that sucks! But I am very highly suggest able:) I hope you find something that helps you soon. Not sleeping is awful. I've had the problem every since I had my boys 8 years ago. The psych said I'm hyper vigilant and I have been diagnosed with an anxiety disorder but that has not been so bad lately luckily. I don't have insurance so I don't see the psych dr anymore. Otherwise I'm sure I'd be on something for sleep. Best of luck to you!
  7. How exciting! I hope that's good for you:)
  8. When I was on trazadone my legs always felt like they needed to move and I would have to constantly shake my foot to calm them down. I just thought I was weird but now I'm thinking maybe it was the trazadone. I had no idea that could be a side effect.
  9. Oh and great job not cheating:) and happy bday to you!
  10. I never thought I'd say it but I don't miss sweets so much either it's all too sweet for me. Even fruit tastes extremely sweet to me. I use to love chocolate too and now can't stand the idea of it! So weird but nice at the same time:)
  11. I'm kind of in this same boat. I can't take ambien or any of those sleeping pills in that family. I would wake up in the morning and have crumbs of cereal everywhere in my bed and no memory of it whatsoever! I was on trazadone but now am on nothing. I did load some free sleep hypnosis apps on to my phone a d those help so much! Usually I cannot even make it through the whole session which is pretty miraculous for me because I too have a very hard time shutting down at night. So if y'all aren't opposed to hypnosis may be give it a try:)
  12. Absolutely ! This is the happiest I've been in a while:)
  13. Omg found a recipe for PF Changs lettuce wraps on Pinterest. The best thing I've had since surgery! Minus the lettuce because it still upsets my tummy:)
  14. Eventhough things have slowed down slightly for you, I find this is when I feel this way too. It's like you actually have a moment to realize how you are feeling because the inertia of it all has slowed down, you know?? Maybe it is the same with you. I sure hope you are feeling better soon!
  15. I usually love salad but have been unable to eat any raw vegetables since surgery without getting sick . I totally feel your pain!
