  1. I had chicken tortilla soup from Jim's here in Texas omg it was so good!! The best I've had since my surgery and the first thing that hasn't left me feeling nauseated in a long time
  2. Omg I can't believe people are telling you how many children to have! So silly! I have three boys. They're great but a huge handful but of course a handful that I would not trade for anything. After my first I was sure I was done. He's stubborn strong willed very very high energy and persistent- hard for an easy going laid back mom like me- but hes definitely the leader type! When I had my second I was so shocked because he was born so calm and quiet and still is. He's just like me:). I think God knew I couldn't handle two like my first. My youngest is pretty stubborn but I've learned how manage that by now:) they love each other but fight a lot. I do miss when I felt that I had enough time for my one son. So I see benefits and downfalls to both. Your boy is so blessed to have all your attention on him. My boys constantly fight for my attention all day long! They are amazing and I would not trade it for anything in the world but it is such a personal choice. Only you know your family best and what is best for you guys:). Just my little two cents:)
  3. HW: 133 Sw:123 Cw: 202 point something lol Goal:147
  4. Yay! What did they say?? I could sure use something like that. I've lost about 30 pounds and have yet to hear anybody say anything. I wonder if they notice lol it's okay though because I do big time. I understand the rough week thing. I have a hard time getting food in and am feeling so drained. I feel like I should be running around playing with my kids and all I can do is lie on the couch:(. But today I'm trying hard to get all my Protein and Water in. It's taken me two hours just to get in half a Protein shake and less than a full glass of water! But I truly feel things will get better and wouldn't change a thing. I have hope now where as the only thing I had to look forward to before was getting bigger and unhealthier!
  5. Thanks so much for this:). I'm definitely going to give that a try!
  6. No I have been having a hard time getting my water in and probably only get in about half of what I should. Hmm I wonder. That could be it. I'll have to try that. Thanks so much for the insight! I have trouble with the feeling of room temp water but seem to tolerate cold better
  7. I like the idea of toxins leaving the fat cells. Makes me feel like their is a good productive reason for this:)
  8. Lol glad that works for you:)
  9. Well glad to hear that it will get better. Just pretty awful right now..
  10. I had surgery on April 15 so about three weeks
  11. Lol I have a "partner". A female one so not likely lol
  12. So I started off great. No nausea with protein shakes or puréed food but now everything makes me nauseated. My protein shakes all food and sometimes even water. I would really just rather not eat but am trying to get all my protein in so I can continue to lose weight. It just makes it hard to function when every couple of hours I get a sick feeling. Tried asking dr. For more nausea medication but they said I should really be over that by now and they will do a swallow test when I next come in. I didn't have this problem at all when I saw them a week ago so we hadn't discussed it. So I guess it's normal?? I'm just going to have to make sure I'm by a couch every time I eat or drink so I can lie down?? Okay now I feel like I'm being a bit dramatic. I love my surgery and how much weight I have lost but this nausea thing is really bothering me. Does it go away with time? How do you guys cope? Anyone else getting nauseated with everything (even smells like toothpaste lol)?
  13. As far as the mayo thing goes I was told not to get anything low fat or fat free such as mayo or ran h dressing. I was told that regular is better because if something is low fat they usually add sugar to it and that is what I am to stay away from most of all. Anyone else told that ???
  14. Lol the Lysol would be for the surfaces the sick person touched not the person
  15. You're too polite. I would have busted out my hand sanitizer and Lysol as she was talking to me lol I don't think there is anything wrong with telling someone they should have stayed home. It's better for them because they need to rest and better for everyone because who wants an office full of sick people just because one person decided not to call in
  16. So cute! It's funny how much our pets can be human like
  17. Sweet! You're looking great!
  18. I get that feeling too and it can be overwhelming. I try to just take it minute by minute instead of trying to take it all in at once and worry I also try to tell myself that I know it will be better soon. What has me so bothered today I probably will not even remember next week. I know all of this is easier said than done lol it just seems that without the proper mindset it is so easy to get overwhelmed. I hope things start looking up for you:)
