No. I won't know the for sure date until this Thursday. But I figure if the 5th is a possibility I want to make sure I have done what I need to.

Ok so I won't have my for sure surgery date until Thursday....but, when the nurse called to confirm Thursday's appointment, she said the earliest date would be august 5th...I have to do a 2 week liquid pre op diet before hand. I asked if I could start it tomorrow just in case they could get me in on the 5th and she said that was fine....hoping I won't just be doing these extra days for nothing...tomorrow may start two weeks of hateful for me...lol...and I have a job interview tomorrow afternoon...lol...wish me luck!!!

I've seen on this group where ppl will make a list of all the ppl having surgery in a particular month...an August list should be made as ppl get their dates...I'd do it if I wasn't so computer challenged...lol

So...I had a dream last night that they scheduled my surgery for August 12th...guess next Thursday I'll find out if I have future telling powers...lol

Me too!! Lol...I hadn't to do two weeks as well...I've already warned a few ppl I may not be pleasant to deal with during that time!! Lol

It is such a great feeling...I'm thinking my surgery will be late this month or mid august...all I know is I am sooo ready to be on the losers bench!!!

Now for my last class and to get my date....super excited!!! And approval took only about a week!!

Now on insurance approval....hoping they don't take forever!!!!

I have just started the process as well...it's nice to see a few other newbies...my dr said he is thinking my surgery will be scheduled in august due to all I have to do for insurance approval...but I am soooo ready!!

I just recently started the process as well...excited to go thru this with the many supportive people on here...im hoping for an August surgery date...right now that seems ages away. Patience has never been a characteristic of mine...keep telling myself time will fly...ugh!!! Lol

I have many hoops to jump thru before I can be scheduled but I know I will have to be on strict liquids for two weeks before surgery.

Love all of these and totally agree!!! I can't wait to have a weight beginning with a 1...I have awhile as I just started the whole process...but I WILL get there!!
