  1. I hope everyone is doing well. I broke my android tablet so I have not been on here in a while. Things have been going well for me. I am down a total 85lbs since starting my pre-op diet in July. I have not had any dumping which I attribute to Soccermom's advice of making sure you have protien in your stomach if you are going to treat yourself. For example I had a 30gram protien shake yesterday and about 10 minutes after drinking it I treated myself to half an Oreo. This by far has been one of the best decisions I have ever made! I will try to get on here more with my work computer and my wifes home computer because I would like to hear how everyone else is doing. Pittguy

  4. I am 6 weeks out and have felt zero hunger since the surgery. I am scheduling meals just to make sure I eat. I know everyone is different but when can I expect to feel hungry again. Or I guess a better way to ask it is when did you first experience hunger post op?
  5. Five days for me. I waited 24 hours after I quit pain meds.

  8. I just had my 5 week appointment and am officially on phase 3 of the diet..... happy happy happy
  9. I am just under 5 weeks and travel for work is kicking my butt too. I struggle to get close to my proteins in.

  12. I am about 3 weeks post op and have developed a bad cough. I am going to call my PCP in the morning but any thoughts on taking cough drops in the meantime?

  14. I take one big scoop of peanut butter and mix it with coconut and Butterfinger pieces. I then throw it all away and eat purée'd chicken and green beans.
  15. I just tried one bite of chicken and egg from pad Thai...... heaven

  18. Each doc is different. My two weeks were 3-4 protein drinks a day and a minimum of 64oz of clear liquid with no calories, no carbonation, and no caffeine.
  19. Any other July folk back to work already? Going well so far but pretty tired by the end of the day.
  20. Cheeseburger and fries...... just kidding puree'd chicken and cottage cheese
  21. I will have to find these. I love avocados.
  22. I love making and eating pickles.... I am on the pureed stage but can't wait to get to the next stage and try one
