  1. Ha. I am such a pansy. I am early in the process and this is the first time I have been nauseous & it is from just reading this thread. I have a long road ahead.
  2. Congrats man!!! Also, nothing beats walleye fishing.
  3. A thread like this should be a must read. Celebrations of farts & poops have not come up in my early stages. I have had just my initial appointment and it was over informative to read so many stories of people going through this stage of the journey in one thread. Lots of successes and struggles.
  4. Congrats... the appointment with the Nut also makes me nervous.
  5. Can't wait to go to a ball game without stressing about the size of the seat.
  6. My Anthem Blue Cross not require a supervised diet just need to be cleared by the dietician. Most of the Blue Crosses in my area do so this can be confusing. Asking your provider for their requirements in writing is a great idea. Also, if you are uncomfortable with your doctor I would consider finding a new one if it does not get better. Communication is huge!
  7. Congrats! I have my first doc appointment Thursday. Do they give you your goal weight or is that some thing you come up with on your own?
  8. Congrats and good luck... I can not wait to be able to start a thread like this!!
  9. I had my informational session yesterday and have my first doc appointment on Thursday. I am excitedly nervous but I am ready for the change. My work has a very nice supportive program and my nurse advocate is great. My insurance has no time frame requirements which is nice i can just focus on one step at a time.
