5. Ughhh, I just had my stitches removed yesterday. I'm 6 months rny post op and had extreme pain in my right side going to my back. I had emergency surgery for gallbladder removal, but when I woke up the surgeon says, you also had an obstructed bowel. Ughh, it was extremely painful. I had to take pain meds around the clock for 6 days. Good luck and prayers for a quick recovery. Rest !

9. It's been a great journey thus far - six 1/2 months after my gastric bypass on May 14. I'm not going to say it's all been easy. Recently I've been through a bump in the road having a bowel obstruction and removal of my gallbladder, but I'm getting stronger each day. I will be running again in no time!! Today I've reached the 100 lb loss and I wanted to share this great news with all of you! I'm so excited. Thank you all for your guidance and support. Love you all. <3

11. Update:: I went to the ER over the weekend in a lot of pain. My gallbladder had to be removed and in surgery they discovered a bowel obstruction. No wonder why I was in a lot of pain. Ugh... Very sore, but resting

14. Six months out from RNY. Total of 98 lbs lost...
15. I'm six months out from having RNY. I've been doing well. Lost a total of 97 lbs and also running 2.6 miles 5x a week. All of a sudden I've been getting sharp constant pains in my upper mid area (pit of my stomach.) Always after I eat and usually much worse during the night (after dinner time)! It would radiate to my right and go towards the back. Doctors say either ulcer or gallbladder. :'( Well yesterday the ultrasound tech said they see what the problem was. Sludge and small stones in the gallbladder. They say they will send the report to my surgeons office. Ugh, really?
