  1. So, I am almost 9wks post op. today I decided that I would redo my daughters vanity that I've been saying I would do forever. Anyway, I got it outside and started spray painting away. About 10-15 min into it(squatting on the ground to get the bottom part)I got this severe burning pain right between my two incisions on my left side looking down. It almost feels as if I have ripped something in there and I'm kinda freaking out. I've felt it once before around 2wks post op as I was turning in bed one night. I'd hate to call my Dr on Super Bowl Sunday but I am worried something is wrong. Any ideas what it could be or has anyone else felt this burning pain??
  2. I felt the same way going in to my surgery. i just remember telling myself i'd rather at least go in and try then not have my surgery and live in this hell forever!! I'm only 8wks out and believe me as scared as I was being wheeled back for surgery-it was also the most exciting time in my life besides being wheeled back to have my daughter. i knew from that moment on my life would be completely different and NOTHING in the world made me happier at that moment. Just keep good thoughts and constantly remind yourself why this surgery is SO important and God will see you through it all. prayers for you always..Your going to do WONDERFUL

I got a steriod shot since i hurt my back monday at kickboxing and lord have mercy I was hungry all day. then poof it was gone. i know for fact normal days i am not getting the max protein. sadly. but hopefully yesterday just proved to me that I can lol

  8. SO....To my surprise, I suddenly woke up 3lbs lighter this morning!! thing is, I ate like a piglet yesterday. It seemed like all i did yesterday was EAT!!! And I didnt even go to the gym? Has anyone else had this amazing blessing?? I'm wondering if maybe i actually got a good amount of calories and protein in that made the difference. I have been at a 260 stall for the last week and woke up to weigh at 257!!
  9. worm2872, this is true. When I first started my journey (beginning stages of approval etc) my husband was mortified that something terrible would happen and so he wasnt on with me but the more I explained it to him and educated him the more he realized how important this life changing and life SAVING surgery was for me!! Hope this help you iverina
  10. this sounds amazing!! please do tell us how it is!!!!
  11. During this journey you will absolutely need him to give you 110% support. I'm 8 weeks out and if I hadnt had my husbands support, I'm not sure i could have handled living in the same house as him especially the first few weeks. Its imparative that he jump on your weightloss journey train. I say if he cant be there for you during this very important time maybe its time to cut ties. reguardless stay strong in what you are doing and know that you are making the best move for yourself!! it'll all be worth it in the end for sure!! dont ever let someone bring you down about your choice for a better, happier and HEalthier you!!
  12. I will be 8wk po tomorrow and definitely feel ya!!! i have been having these issues as well. very tired and run down. i have actually went back on the Unjury thinking getting in good amount of protein will help but sadly i havent seen a difference yet. i guess it will all come back in time but i definitely do NOT like this sluggish tired feeling at all!!!
  13. I have chocolate and unflavored left. I haven't actually tried anything in them though. I seem to be able to get it down better today than I had 4 weeks ago when that's all I could have lol. I am down 32lbs since surgery. I had been feeling great but this last week drug me down for some reason and I think it's the protein or lack there of.
  14. So.. I will be 7 wk Po on Wednesday and I am just curious as to how some of you are getting in the right amount of protein? I ended up going back to the protein shake(disgusting) today bc I'm worried my Weightloss is suffering from lack of protein being taken in. Any advice as to how to get enough in? Or drinks besides nasty Unjury??
