  1. I remember when I could not wait to have a BM. Now, it is running out if me I have been on clear liquids to see if this helps and afraid to drink my protein drinks... Double
  2. Thank you. I'm going to drink fluids only today and see if this helps. Just getting bothersome. I have a checkup tomorrow, so ill let you know.
  3. Ugh. Now diarrhea, too. Could it all be related?
  4. 8 days post op. I was going to the bathroom fine. Yesterday, got stomach cramps and had a bout if diarrhea. This morning again, same thing. Still in puréed. Have eaten only apple sauce, yogurt,, cottage cheese, malt o meal. Along with icky protein drinks. Should I be worried?
  5. I was allowed 30 ml q 6 hours. They told me the stabbing pain was muscle spasms and prescribed Valium. Very painful and very common.
  6. I would kill for a scrambled egg. They told me I have to wait till soft food stage, which is Monday! YAY! 7days post op and I made it through ten hours of school today, and back to work Monday. Overall, this was a much easier adventure then I thought it would be (so far). I have not weighed myself since finding out I gained a zillion pounds leaving the hospital, now I'm afraid. I will find out Monday at check up. Today I felt a lump either my right lymph node or gland is swollen and sore. Praying this is nothing.
  7. Ugh. I took melt aways and got the sugar overdose. Sweats. Sick. No diarrhea tho. Awful feeling but am having a hard time gagging down lortab. When can we start swallowing pills? I know I was told to take my biotin gel caps but afraid it will get stuck. Please any insight will help. Friday the 1st will be exactly 7 days post op.
  8. I am 5 days post op and trying not to take lortab. How much children's Tylenol are we to take? Liquid/and meltaways ? I am hoping everyone gets to feeling better soon. I know it helps being able to move and be active.

  10. Yay. Finally passed gas! Thought I was dreaming. I get to go home today I am drinking massive amounts of fluid with no pain. Still having stomach spasms; doctor says this should go away soon. Today I go to full liquids, which makes me very afraid! Glad to hear everyone is doing well.

  12. Thanks ladies. Doc thought maybe small hematoma and put ice on it. I was expecting a lot more pain, so I am excited to drink with no complications. Now, if I could fart! Ugh.....
  13. I'm laying here and doing fairly well. I have had decaf coffee, chicken broth, Popsicles and water. What hurts us my left side, under my rib age, like someone stabbing me... Thoughts or insight?
  14. I need to fart then I get sherbet. I would be in heaven. They keep me on fluids till Monday, then full liquids till the 5 th then soft foods. Not too long. Hoping may pain stays this way and not get any worse
  15. Had surgery today. Done at 4 and actually feeling great! I hope it stays this way. Sucking ice and drinking chicken broth.

  17. I know! On my journey I have found the Atkins bars are heaven! I will miss them. Surgery is Friday and I have annex my last meals.
  18. Do you take regular Tylenol caplets or children's Tylenol?
  19. I see your weight is dropping soccer mom! Good for you. How are ya feeling?
