  1. These are my new friends
  2. I know what you mean as well.... I got a sea salt body scub that leaves my skin feeling smooth and flake free after a shower.
  3. So first I am thankful that I have the most amazing husband. He is so supportive and I truly feel blessed. He started on a diet the two weeks after my surgery. He only needs to loose about 20 but he is truly trying and using MFP and we are workout buddies. He already lost 8 lbs!! Tonight he surprised me. He makes wine and bottled a Barbera which is a full bodied red. Well the surprise was that he put me on the label he made for this recent batch. It's a picture of me about 10 years ago and well, I think it's his favorite.. Here it is... What do you think?
  4. I sent you the link... So easy
  5. Not hard at all. I'll email you
  6. Yes I must admit I want a new scale. The one I have now doesn't have "decimals". My husband agrees we need a new one since he's dieting also. ( he's my old obsession and biggest supporter) haha!!
  7. So what's your new obsession since you started your weight loss journey? Everyone says that you shouldn't weigh yourself every day but I figure I quit smoking and gave up wine for a healthy new life.... Im going to weigh myself... It keeps me honest. My other new obsession is body lotions, creams, oils, you name it. Trying to keep the skin hydrated both inside and out lol!
  8. I feel like I'm reading a post from myself three weeks ago. I did the same thing. Don't stress the scale will move. Your body needs to adjust to the rapid weight loss. I didn't loose any weight for 9 days and then last week I lost 8 lbs. Doing the same thing I was the week before. Be patient it will happen. Now I haven't loss any thing yet this week. I measured myself pre surgery and now on the weeks I don't loose I measure. It realy helps when you see your loosing inches too. So far I have lost 23 inches overall. Keep your wheels on ... Your on your way!!!!
  9. I'm not really sure... We put them in a ziplock in the fridge... I think they'll be gone by tomorrow

Ingredients: 15 eggs (for silicone muffin pans, use 12 eggs for metal muffin tins or individual silicone cups. You can use less egg yolks and more egg white if you prefer.) 1-2 tsp. of seasoning blend that's good with eggs. (salt and pepper, Mrs. Dash) 1-2 cups grated low fat cheese (I like sharp cheddar or a blend of cheddar/Jack cheese, use less cheese if using meat) Optional, but highly recommended, 3 green onions diced small. Optional: chopped veggies such as blanched broccoli, red pepper, zucchini, mushrooms, etc. (Using veggies will reduce the fat content) Optional: diced Canadian bacon, lean ham, or crumbled cooked turkey sausage Instructions: Preheat oven to 375 F. Use regular or silicone muffin pan, 12 muffin size. If using silicone pan, spray with nonstick spray. If using regular muffin pan, put two paper liners into each slot, then spray liner with nonstick spray. In the bottom of the muffin cups layer diced meat, if using, vegetables, if using, cheese and green onions. You want the muffin cups to be about 2/3 full, with just enough room to pour a little egg around the other ingredients. Break eggs into large measuring bowl with pour spout, add Spike, and beat well. Pour egg into each muffin cup until it is 3/4 full. I like to stir slightly with a fork. Bake 25-35 minutes until muffins have risen and are slightly browned and set. Muffins will keep more than a week in the refrigerator. Egg muffins can be frozen and reheated, but I like them best when they are just refrigerated. For best results, thaw in refrigerator before reheating. Microwave on high about 1-2 minutes to reheat
  11. That's good. You need to feel comfortable with all aspects. You also need to feel comfortable with your surgeon. Your going to be fine dear... just keep positive!
  12. I made these for my Brunch on Sunday and the Family Loved them! So many different ways to use it. At brunch we used it as a waffle and added fresh stawberries, blueberries and raspberries with a touch of sugarfree maple syrup. Later I used it as a wrap for a little shrimp salad.... yum! Enjoy!!! Ingredients: 3 eggs, separated 3 tablespoons whole milk cottage cheese or 3 tablespoons cream cheese 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar 1 packet of splenda Directions Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Separate the eggs very carefully, there must be no yolk in the white. In one bowl, mix together the egg yolks, the 3 T. of Cottage Cheese OR Cream Cheese and the one packet of Sweetener until smooth. In the other bowl add 1/4 teaspoon of Cream of Tartar to the whites and beat the whites on high speed until they are fluffy and form nice peaks. Very carefully fold the egg yolk mixture into the egg whites until mixed, but try and not break down the fluffiness of the egg whites too much. Spray two cookie sheets with Pam or other fat-free cooking spray. With a large spoon, "scoop" the mixture into 10 even rounds on the sheets (about the size of the top-half of the McDonalds hamburger bun; roughly 3/4 inch thick and 4 to 5 inches across). Bake on the middle rack. Here is when you have to watch them, because the cooking time the same on any two batches. It is somewhere around 1/2 hour, but it could be less or more. You just need to watch them until them become nice and golden brown (again, the color of a McDonalds bun). Remove from the pans and cool on a rack or cutting board. While warm they are crumbly and similar to cooked meringue - but don't let this fool you! Once completely cool, seal them in a ziplock storage baggie or a tupperware over night. They will totally change their consistency, to something much more like bread - a softer texture that is nice and chewy. If you do not like softer chewy bread, then eat them as they are, nice and crisp. Since the sides that were facing the pan are perfectly flat, you use these to spread things on, or make sandwiches, or even as a burger bun! The choice is up to you, and you will be quite amazed at how much like a bun these really are!
